Hello,
This is the first time I'm posting my chart after turning 27 . I feel much like I did when I was 26 haha. Let's get to this weeks chart.
Lot's of debuts this week which means we say goodbye to many songs:
Falling off:
TW LW Artist - Song Weeks Peak
-- 20 Halsey – New Americana 11 12
-- 19 Cold War Kids - First 11 3
-- 16 Troye Sivan - Wild 11 1 (1)
We start the countdown off with one of our new entries, Years and Years enters with "Eyes Shut" at number 20. Nothing But Thieves debuts at 19 with "Trip Switch" and Troye Sivan replaces himself at number 16 with "Youth." This is the first time a song that made it to number one has fallen off the chart since I started making weekly charts again 12 weeks ago.
The weeks greatest gainer is Wintersleep with the super fun to listen to "Amerika," it moves 18-13.
This weeks top five starts with Mumford and Sons as well as M.I.A falling 4-5 and 3-4 respectfully with "Ditmas" and "Borders." Adele enters the top three moving 5-3 with "Hello," time will tell if the song can make it to the top spot. At number two is last weeks number one, Of Monsters and Men are dethroned after 2 weeks at the top, falling 1-2 with "Empire." That means Metric move into the top spot with "Lie Lie Lie," a feat they just couldn't quite accomplish with "The Governess" (which drops 12-14 this week).
That does it for this week folks, as always you can listen to the playlist of the chart here: itunes.apple.com/ca/playlist/chart/idpl.4e3dc4d7e7ca406b8782bc0eb91f0e12
Have a wonderful week!
