Hi everyone,
What a ridiculous week the last week has been. Work is ridiculous, or more specifically my boss is ridiculous. So glad that week is over and I can catch up and post this chart before Sunday, without further delay let's get to this weeks top 20!
This chart is the tenth week since I decided to reboot the chart - exciting milestone!
We have one debut this week which means we say goodbye to one song:
Falling off:
TW LW Artist – Song Weeks Peak
-- 18 Coleman Hell – 2 Heads 9 8
Replacing Coleman Hell this week is Grimes who debuts at number 20 with "Flesh Without Blood." Notable moves outside the top five include City and Colour's "Lover Come Back" (20-18), the weeks greatest gainer "Come Alive" by the Jezebels (19-14), A Great Big World's "Oasis" (17-13), Adele's "Hello" (11-8), and "Why Would I Now?" by the Decemberists (10-7).
This weeks top five starts with a slight rebound for "Talk Me Down," which moves 6-5. Metric climbs one spot with "Lie Lie Lie" (5-4). Mumford and Sons refuses to give up and holds steady at number 3 with "Ditmas." At number two is the former number one song for four weeks running, M.I.A. finally gives up the crown with "Borders" (1-2) after tying Troye's four week stay at the top. That means we have a new number one, Of Monsters and Men score their first number one with "Empire" (2-1).
As I've done for the past few weeks I've created an Apple Music Playlist that you can listen to here
That's it for this week folks... or I guess last week... I'll be back tomorrow with the top 20 songs for this week.
