Well wasn't that a fantastic set? Everything but #69 and #70 is going to do ridiculously well on my year-end as well!

Kicking off the Top 50 then with this... ! 50. The Arcade Fire - Rebellion (Lies)#4, 10 weeks on chart. Sleeping is giving in, no matter what the time is. Sleeping is giving in, so lift those heavy eyelids.
People say that you'll die faster than without water. But we know it's just a lie, scare your son, scare your daughter.49. Natalie Imbruglia - Shiver#6, 9 weeks on chart. 48. Ciara - Goodies#6, 11 weeks on chart. 47. Razorlight - Somewhere Else#3, 9 weeks on chart. You're an emotional wreck You don't know who you are You never say what you mean And you keep your mouth shut And your night stays still And then you come and call on me You say I just can't help myself I really, really wish I could be Somewhere else than here 46. Black Eyed Peas - Don't Lie#5, 9 weeks on chart. 45. Gwen Stefani - Hollaback Girl#3, 9 weeks on chart. Let me hear you say, this sh*t is B-A-N-A-N-A-S this sh*t is B-A-N-A-N-A-S 44. Kylie Minogue - I Believe In You#1, 14 weeks on chart. This spent time at #1 during December 2004 but remained high on the chart during early 2005 to assure its place in my Top 50 of the year. Well deserved, and I wish Kylie all the best and a speedy recovery from her battle against breast cancer! 43. Rooster - Staring At The Sun#5, 10 weeks on chart. Daylight on my shoulder Makes me feel alive You kept me standing in your shadow And it's a cold cold place to hide
I'm running away from this messed up place I'm breaking free, yeah yeah
I'm tired of staring at the sun Can't stand the way you put my eyes so I can't see Stealing every breath I breathe You push me into overdrive And I don't need this kind of light coz now I'm done You took everything while I was staring at the sun42. Rihanna - Pon De Replay#2, 9 weeks on chart. 41. McFly - All About You#5, 10 weeks on chart.

Moving swiftly on and we lose 3 more of the years #1's already, with some really tough competition causing them to crash outside the Top 30!! 40. Kanye West f/Jamie Foxx - Gold Digger#4, 13 weeks on chart. Huge hit in North America which spent 10 weeks at #1 on the Billboard HOT 100. Another good track from his latest album "Late Registration". 39. Coldplay - Fix You#2, 9 weeks on chart. The 2nd of three from "X&Y" to make my top 100 of 2005. Is "Speed Of Sound" the #1 of the year? 38. The Bravery - An Honest Mistake#8, 9 weeks on chart. People They don't mean a thing to you They move right through you Just like your breath But sometimes I still think of you And I just wanted to Just wanted you to know My old friend... I swear I never meant for this I never meant... 37. Nelly f/Tim McGraw - Over And Over#1, 13 weeks on chart. 36. Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends#7, 13 weeks on chart. Here comes the rain again Falling from the stars Drenched in my pain again Becoming who we are
As my memory rests But never forgets what I lost Wake me up when September ends
Summer has come and passed The innocent can never last Wake me up when September endsA very poignant song about the passing of Billie Joe Armstrong's father, who he lost at the age of 10 to cancer. 35. Will Smith - Switch#6, 14 weeks on chart. This song is just too catchy, and after some 15-20 years in the music industry the 'Fresh Prince' is still going strong! The follow-up was I thought really disappointing though.. 34. Bloc Party - So Here We Are#5, 11 weeks on chart. I caught a glimpse, but its been forgotten So here we are again I made a vow, to carry you home... home
I really tried to do what you wanted It all went wrong again
I made a vow, to carry you home If you fall sick, if you pass out
I figured it out, I can see again33. Robbie Williams - Trippin'#2, 11 weeks on chart. *still on chartRobbie goes reggae...? Well sort of, I hated it at first (as with most of his new stuff) but it grew on me surprisingly and its probably up there as one of my favourites from him! 32. Pussycat Dolls - Don't Cha#1, 9 weeks on chart. Again, another really catchy summer smash. This made it to #1 briefly for just 1 week in September; its run ended abruptly by a record breaking song which happens to chart 1 place above in the year-end. Franz Ferdinand's "Do You Want To" registered both the largest ever chart climb and largest climb to #1 when it moved 30-1 on the 18th September, 2005! 31. Franz Ferdinand - Do You Want To#1, 10 weeks on chart. When I woke up tonight I said I'm gonna make somebody love me I'm Gonna make somebody love me And now I know, now I know, now I know I know that it's you You're Lucky, lucky, you're so lucky

Franz, PCD, Will, GD, THE BRAVERY, Coldplay, and Kanye! Especially enthused about the solid Bravery showing.
