Some of you may remember that last Sunday I ranted about my shitty ass HP 2000 laptop and how it crapped out on me for absolutely no reason even though it was less than two years old. As a result, I lost a bunch of things that I idiotically did not save onto my hard drive, such as the August/September issue of JT40 Magazine. The good news is that I got a new laptop - a Toshiba satellite. The bad news is that I also lost the revised worst songs list, so I unfortunately cannot continue to count that down. If you guys have any questions about where a certain song ranked, I can try to recall what I remember, but off the top of my head - Prince's "P. Control" (or "Pussy Control") was still #1, Miley Cyrus's collaboration with Britney Spears, "SMS (Bangerz)" was in a very close second at #2, Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" was #3, Kanye West's "Bound 2" was either #4 or #5, "Heartbeat" by Enrique Iglesias and "Muskrat Love" by Craptain & Tennille were both top 50, "The Fox" was top 10, and I believe "Harlem Shake" was as well, OH and Avril's "Hello Kitty" was top 10! And Julian, Lady Gaga's highest appearance was "You & I" which was top 20. I really apologize that I can't finish the list guys. Wait another few years and I'll probably feel the need to revise it again. Anyway, even more good news is that you may remember in the Chit-Chat thread a few months ago, I posted a list I made in 2012 of my all-time favorite artists. I revised it recently for fun, and luckily I still have it saved onto my hard drive! So I will be counting that down, with fancy artwork, stories on how I got into the artist, and the best part - you guys will finally get the answer to that burning question, Lita or Grace? I also promise not to take 853 years this time, so BE THERE OR BE SQUARE BROTHAS!

Do you remember how high "I'm Yours" was? As its #1 hater, I had to ask! Can't wait for the revised favourite artists I bet Grace and her various permutations of Jefferson Whoever took #1 but Lita will still remain a very strong #2.

To quote a group who isn't anywhere near this list, LET'S GET IT STARTED IN HERE! This was not an easy list for me to make as there are SO many artists who I listen to and there are actually several artists who I like very much that missed this list! I ranked these artists based on how much I enjoy their overall bodies of work and how much they made an impact on me. During this list I will post videos of my favorite song from each artist, as well as stories as to how I was introduced to them (if I can remember all of them ). So sit back, relax, and enjoy the countdown - and hopefully no HP laptops will crash and delete all your files in the process. I know I've heard several Collective Soul songs around the time they were out, but I didn't really start getting into them until around 2005-2006 when I started developing an appreciation for rock and alternative music. Some favorites of mine include "December", "Run", Heavy", and my personal favorite... I LOVED "Mo Money Mo Problems" and heard it all the time back when it was out and didn't know who sang (or in this case, rapped ) it until around... 2004? 2005? I also checked out some of his other tunes around that time such as "Hypnotize" and "Juicy". He's definitely one of my favorite rappers and it's a shame that we lost him so soon. I LOVED Monica when I was younger! She's very underrated and has a great voice. The music she releases now is still pretty good but, in my opinion, nowhere near as good as her 90's material. I was first introduced to her with "The Boy Is Mine" and "For You I Will" from Space Jam, both of which are excellent songs. However, THIS is one of my favorite songs of all-time... I know you all are judging me right now but I don't care. I've always said he was my favorite rapper and I'm sticking with it. I LOVED his music when I was younger - "Gettin' Jiggy With It", "Wild Wild West", and yes Courage, "Miami". And come on, the "Fresh Prince" theme is a classic! It was fun, inoffensive, party music. I know a certain board member whose username begins with an X won't be thrilled by this , but this has always been my favorite from him: Tagging Matt for his reaction as I know he loves his Kylie. I was first introduced to Kylie back in 2002 with "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", which I liked a lot (although the single from that album that I really loved was "Love At First Sight"). I got into her music more around 2004, checking out some of her 80's, 90's, and early 2000's stuff. Some of my favorite songs from her include "Spinning Around", "Some Kind Of Bliss", and my favorite, this gem from 1994: COMING UP: 91. An artist who would probably be WAY higher if she had more than two albums. 92. An R&B group who probably would've been higher if two members didn't recently get on my bad side. 93. A female vocalist from Chicago who is more famous internationally than in America. How does that work?! 94. A male vocalist from my hometown - Long Island, New York! 95. Devyn thinks this artist flirts with a certain dessert that you can put fruit in, such as apples and blueberries.

Artists like all of those (well, maybe less so Kylie as my favourites from her generally aren't 90's) definitely help define why the 90's were so great. 91... could it be Adele? Yeah, 2 albums wouldn't really count for much. 93 has to be Anastacia. 94... Billy Joel? 95 has to be Tom Petty (and the Heartbreakers).

Why haven't you ever stanned over my Kylie? Huh? Huh?? Oh I get it, she's not 'rocker' enough for you FANtastic to see her make the top 100! *HUGS!* I am stunned you love your rapper-fellas. I had no idea! I assume this means Chris Brown will be further down the list? No wait, he's hip-hop? Oh I don't even care what he is I loved Monica too! Is she still around??

Where did the whole "Flirting With Pie" expression ever come from, after all?

Where did the whole "Flirting With Pie" expression ever come from, after all? When Devyn had a radio show on VFM for his chart, he played the Tom Petty song "Flirting With Time" one week on his show and JessieLou thought he was saying "Flirting With Pie". Ever since then, we've called it Flirting With Pie.

I hope Black Lace are in this. I never even heard of this group until now. "Craptain" jajajajajaja Anyway, I don't remember where Tori was last time... cause she was in a top 100, right? Anyway, I can only hope she's in the top 80 Seriously, Unrepentant Geraldines should have brought you back into the fold Jess. What happened? UG is not a bad album at all, but I don't know. I guess after years of underwhelming me it was just too late, which was why Avril Lavigne's "Let Me Go", despite being a return to form, completely flopped on my chart. But Tori on her worst day still slays Assvil Skankvigne's entire career. While Tori definitely is not as high on the list as she would've been if I compiled this in 2005, she's still to come.

My parents (particularly my Mom) are both Tom Petty fans and I heard his songs on the radio all the time when I was younger, so he was one of the first classic rock artists I really got into. I always thought a lot of his 70's and 80's hits sounded straight out of the 90's. I remember being shocked when I found out that "Don't Do Me Like That" was from 1980. His sound was very ahead of it's time, and it especially showed when he was still getting hits in the 90's. In fact, this one, a 90's tune, is probably my favorite from him: *insert iconic glass-breaking noise in "You May Be Right" here* SEBASTIAN PROSPERO! THEY'VE NEVER HEARD THIS ONE BEFORE! I DON'T THINK THEY'RE READY! All "70's Whore" references aside, here's another classic rock artist I got exposed to at an early age! The fact that he, like myself, is from Long Island definitely helped. Plus he's one of my Mom's all-time favorite artists - she actually saw him in concert when she was pregnant with my brother. My local stations played his music ALL THE TIME. I'm sure many people will be surprised at his low placement, but to be honest, even though I've always liked his music, I was honestly always more into Elton. My favorite song of his would be this 1977 hit: I liked Anastacia when she first came out, but I didn't hear her music that much aside from the occasional VH1 play. I actually didn't really start getting into her music until I joined this board. Her self-titled album was very popular on here and FreakyFlyBry sent it to me. It's definitely one of the greatest pop albums of the last decade in my opinion. She has a very powerful voice that I believe is very underrated. She did lose me a bit with the Heavy Rotation album in 2008 and that awful "I Can Feel You" song, but she redeemed herself with great songs from her latest album Resurrection such as "Stupid Little Things", and my chart's top debut this week, "Staring At The Sun". I also admire her for surviving breast cancer twice - my Mom had a battle with breast cancer earlier this year so I find her story to be very inspiring. My favorite song from her is without a doubt this HUGE favorite of mine from 2004: This group was a huge part of my childhood - it's a shame that two of the members are now on my bad side. Kelly Rowland for being an attention whore who compares getting a boob job to brushing your teeth, and Beyonce' for being a TERRIBLE feminist role model. Beyonce' is as much of a feminist as I am a Craptain & Tennille fan. What "feminist" makes light of Tina Turner's abuse in a song? Or says in interviews that women HAVE to suck dick? Anyway, enough of the negativity, let's talk about the good times when she wasn't a contradicting skank - MTV played their videos all the time and I remember when I first saw the video for "Say My Name" on there I KNEW it would be a smash hit. Aside from SMN, I also really loved "Jumpin' Jumpin'", "Independent Women", "Survivor", and this one from 1999 which is my favorite from them. The ONLY reason why she is only #91 is because I can't rank her at #20 for just two albums - that would be ridiculous... although, then again, Damn Yankees are still to come. But anyway, when Adele first came out I wasn't a fan. In early 2008 when I first heard "Chasing Pavements", I was more into the 80's hard rock and metal and I'm not going to lie - I considered her indie at the time. Years later in 2011 I gave "Rolling In The Deep" a chance and I really liked it - enough for it to go to #1 on my chart - but what really made me become a fan of hers was being BLOWN AWAY by "Set Fire To The Rain", my chart's all-time biggest hit. I was so obsessed with her in 2011-2012 and was SUPER happy for her when she won all those Grammy's! She really is a breath of fresh air - she's talented, has a great voice, doesn't use stupid gimmicks, and is gorgeous without dressing like a two-cent porn star - I'd argue that she's way more attractive than the ones who dress like that. Surprisingly though, as much as I love "Rolling In The Deep" and "Set Fire To The Rain", in recent years, this song - from her 2007 debut album 19 - has really grown to become my favorite from her. COMING UP: 86. A powerful vocalist who left us way too soon. 87. A 90's punk band from California that actually formed in the mid-80's! 88. Ray Parker Jr.'s least favorite group. 90. The weather in Florida is typically like this.

All great artists there, especially Tom Petty and Billy Joel, true legends! Surprised Adele is so low given how into her you were in 2011 but two albums does lead to a low placing. 87... Green Day? 88... Huey Lewis & the News? 89... Bryan Adams
