A Perfect Circle! 3 Libras, when released, was a letdown to me. I like the song now, but back then, not so much. I still remember getting a teacher to get me the cd lol I still have the cd! <3 You got a teacher to buy you a CD? I would love to hear how you went about this. I love Touch Peel And Stand. Awesome song. Sadly, while I like many Nickelback songs, I also dislike some and This Afternoon is in the latter category. I'm sure they'll have something I like to come. I can understand why people would dislike "This Afternoon" despite me liking it so much. And it's great seeing that so many people like "Touch, Peel And Stand." Yay This Afternoon, but Gotta Get Me Some is one of my least favourites from them. Also nice to see Touch, Peel and Stand. I should listen to more Temple of the Dog. Nobody seems to like "Gotta Get Me Some," not even longtime Nickelback fans. Maybe it's a good thing they didn't release it as a single. And I would definitely recommend Temple of the Dog. The album is fantastic IMO, and I think you'd like it a lot.

85) "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" - Guns N' RosesWhile not originally done by GNR, I think Slash and company perfected this. I grew up hearing this and have always loved it. My dad was always a fan of this one and I heard it a lot as a kid. Axl nails the vocals on this one and Slash never sounded better IMO. Those riffs are just too good! 84) "Plowed" - SpongeThe mid '90s had perhaps more songs than any time period other than the 1970s for songs living on as golds, so it's easy for something like this to get lost in the shuffle. Fortunately, this one is still getting radio to this play and I have never forgotten it since discovering it in 2008. The vocals and guitars compliment each other very well, and the dark lyrical theme works perfectly here. 83) "Suga Suga" - Baby Bash featuring Frankie JDuring a period with a lot of pop hits that I didn't like, "Suga Suga" was a huge exception for me in early 2004. To me, it's one of the most underrated songs of the '00s and I wish it was more remembered. The little guitar loop works perfectly and I think this one still sounds great today. 82) "Never Let You Go" - Third Eye BlindIt doesn't get much more fun than this. With lyrics, vocals and one of the most fun riffs I have ever heard, the easy-to-relate-to lyrics just put it over the top for me. I have been a fan of it for many years and don't see myself ever getting tired of it. 81) "Cover Me" - CandleboxIt's hard to find a song more comforting than this top 10 rock hit from 1994. There's something very soothing and relaxing about it for me; despite the anger and sadness present throughout the track. Definitely one of my go-to songs when I'm feeling down. I think it deserves to get more gold play on rock stations.

Buttons was good. I wasn't crazy about it when it was out but I appreciate it now. If this was a top 100 videos list though it would be a good 80 spots higher. Actually never cared for Touch, Peel, & Stand.

The Guns N' Roses (IMO better than the Bob Dylan version) and Third Eye Blind songs are great, "Suga Suga" is ok.

Actually never cared for Touch, Peel, & Stand. LoL, you know me well. "Buttons" was my #1 video of all-time until a certain video came out last fall.

Yay GnR! Plowed is a song I discovered about 2008 or so too. Candlebox and Third Eye Blind are great as well.

80) "One" - MetallicaThis song tells the story of a man who has lost all four limbs, his hearing and his sight due to landmine injuries. The music captures the lyircal theme perfectly, and the haunting prayer for death always sends a chill down my spine. The highlight though is perhaps the bridge, which showcases the band really firing on all cylinders. 79) "Under The Bridge" - Red Hot Chili PeppersDoes anyone not like this song? I grew up hearing it and still listen to it all the time, and I never grow tired of it. It's such a smooth song all around, and my favorite part is the "yeah, yeah" after the first chorus. I don't know why, but I just love the way he sings that. Certainly one of the more memorable '90s rock songs for a lot of people. 78) "Blind Faith" - WarrantWhile far from their best-known, this power ballad is my personal favorite from Warrant. This song represents everything that the hipsters of today seemingly can't do: write a damn good song, with real instruments, with nice lyrics about how much a guy loves his girlfriend. I think JessieLou and I should lock hipsters in a room and make them listen to this, and contemplate life. 77) "The Day I Tried To Live" - SoundgardenCan you say one more time around? Showing just how good '90s rock can be is this jam from Soundgarden. Despite some people thinking the song has a morbid, suicidal message, Cornell actually intended for this to be a song of hope. That's how I see it...one more time around might indeed do it, and one day things might finally go my way. 76) "100 In A 55" - Pop EvilThose of you who knew me back in 2009 may remember how much I loved this one. In fact, it ranked as my #1 song of that year! With a good mix of electric and acoustic guitars, great vocals and lyrics that I really related to, this was perfect for me at the time. Pop Evil is a band that I really like but they have yet to release a song that impresses me as much as this one.

I love "Under The Bridge", one of my favourite songs ever.
"One" is pretty good too, and while I'm not really into Pop Evil generally, I kinda like "100 In A 55".

Don't know the Pop Evil song (although given my history with them that might be a good thing lol) but I like the rest! I wouldn't mind forcing hipsters to listen to Warrant.

75) "Angry Chair" - Alice in ChainsWhat do you get when you combine heavy riffs, a melodic chorus and very dark lyrics? You get this awesome track. Definitely one of my go-to songs when I'm in a certain mood, and something I enjoy listening to on extremely cold days. I always thought the "lost my mind, but I don't mind" was very clever. 74) "The Clincher" - ChevelleOne of my first forays into hard rock was with this song, which was on the Madden NFL 2005 soundtrack. There is something about the chorus that separates it from a lot of other songs to me; it's heavy and fast, yet sad and somber at the same time. This, combined with the screaming elements, makes for one of the best rock radio hits of 2005. 73) "Hey Jealousy" - Gin BlossomsI discovered this song in 2004, and have loved it ever since. And while it might not rank as high on my favorites list as it would have a decade ago, I feel like I have a bigger appreciation for the lyrics now than I did back then. I never understood why this song was "blacklisted" from getting played on harder rock stations. 72) "Just A Lil Bit" - 50 CentI have long considered 50 Cent to be my favorite rapper, which has led to a lot of joking banter between myself and some people I know. My favorite song by him would have to be this one, which has production that is just off the charts. The sitar solo puts this one over the top, and the catchy chorus and fun lyrics make this one a rap track to remember. 71) "Glycerine" - BushSince discovering this cautionary tale song in high school, I have been consistently listening to it over the years and have yet to tire of it. I find it notable for being a major '90s rock hit that does not have any drums in it whatsoever.

Gin Blossoms and Bush - two of the best 90's alternative rock songs ever. Love both of those!
50 Cent - No. Just no.
