2. Justin Bieber featuring Daniel Caesar & Givēon PEACHES
"Peaches" is just the type of song that I like. Great beat, Rhythmic-leaning Pop, just funky enough to not be boring, but still completely accessible to any type of listener. Obviously, given its placement on the year end chart, it was my favorite of all of the releases from the Justice album. By the way, the single version is outstanding, but a cool remix with Ludacris, Usher, & Snoop Dogg also exists which is worth a listen. "Peaches" was on my Top 50 chart for 31 weeks and logged-in four weeks in the #1 spot. And just in case the numbers don't add up in your head about why it's ahead of "Leave The Door Open" on the list, "Peaches" finished 61 points ahead of that song.
1. Doja Cat & Sza KISS ME MORE
It wasn't even close. "Kiss Me More" was ahead of "Peaches" in terms of point totals for calculating my top songs of 2021 list by 99 points. This catchy little earworm was on my brain, the tip of my tongue, and my lips for most of the year. It's exactly what you want in a hit Pop record: fun, flirty, and light as air. It definitely had me hooked. It spent a more than respectable four weeks in the #1 spot on my chart during a run of 33 weeks on the chart...making it the longest-running song in my Top 50 in 2021. Very impressive stats for a really cool song.

Excellent top 2, even though I got tired of Kiss Me More, but I'm sure I'll warm up more to it again.
