Acquiesce - Excellent song, and not the screamfest SOME people say it is Malibu - One of Hole's best! November Rain - This is a masterpiece, it's one of the most played songs on Youtube for a reason! Everlong - I still find this overrated but it's very good Jeremy - One of their all time best! Celebrity Skin - Another 90s classic! Uninvited - One of her best Stargazer - Do I need to say anything here? One Headlight - One of my favourites as a kid!

15. Dio – “Rainbow In The Dark” (1983)My introduction to Dio! I still remember the day I first heard this like it was yesterday - and honestly I am completely dumbfounded that it's already been 11 YEARS. It was October 2007 - my parents were going to go on a cruise for the weekend, which meant Unkie and I had the house to ourselves, and since we were both teenagers, you know what that meant - no, not a party, because most people in Port Borange suck, but rather loud music, lots of junk food, and marathons of our favorite shows (Murphy Brown, Kenan & Kel, Cheers, Fresh Prince, All That, The Simpsons, etc.). At this time since I wasn't a full-blown metalhead yet, I watched Metal Mania on VH1 Classic, but ONLY to see Lita Ford videos. I had it on while my parents were getting ready to leave, and a few minutes after they left and I said goodbye, I went back into the room where the TV was on, and the video for this came on, and I just remember being like, "What is this? This is one of the heaviest songs I've ever heard!" The funny thing about that is, this song almost didn't make the album because Ronnie James Dio thought it was too pop. I immediately went to my computer, fired up Limeslow aka Limewire, and downloaded this, and it's been a major favorite ever since. This is another one of those songs that no matter how much I play the f*ck out of it, I can't get sick of it. However I think an even better example of that would be the next song... 14. Lita Ford – “Gotta Let Go” (1984)Another one that I remember discovering like it was yesterday - I first heard this one in July 2007. Those who were on here in 2007 have probably heard this story 947 times, but here it is again. One of the first artists who I really started getting into when I started getting into 80's music was Joan Jett, and in June 2007, I was completely dumbfounded when I found out that she was in a band called The Runaways in the 70's with - you guessed it - Lita Ford! I was already familiar with "Kiss Me Deadly", which at the time I thought was meh (how times have changed), but knowing this piece of information made me curious to check out Lita's other stuff. I went on Limeslow, I mean Limewire, searched "Lita Ford", and downloaded the first few songs that came up, including future JessieLou bops "Dressed To Kill", "Back To The Cave", and "Black Widow". I liked them all a lot, but it wasn't until a month later when all hell broke loose and I became a crazy Lita nutjob. My parents have a home treadmill, and whenever I went on it I would listen to Music Choice. I turned on the "Arena Rock" channel and caught the middle of this song and I thought it was so awesome. Throughout the entire 30 minute workout I couldn't get that song out of my head and the second I got off the treadmill, off to Limeslow I went to download the song! Unfortunately, I cannot prove this to you guys now because I was an idiot and deleted my original Last.fm account in late 2007, but I listened to this song a whopping 46 TIMES that night. And in a row. I'm not that insane I swear. Just a kick ass song that was very instrumental in me getting into hard rock and heavy metal music. If I were to compile a list of songs that changed my life, this one would definitely be up there for sure. Loved the video for this too! 13. Vanessa Williams – “Colors Of The Wind” (1995)I like Vanessa Williams (obviously since she has my 13th favorite song of all time ), but I'm sure she stuck out like a sore thumb to you when you guys saw she had a song coming up in the same set as some of my biggest cores ever (Grace, Lita, Alanis, and Dio). When I was little, I loved all the Disney movies and the Disney princesses, but one of my absolute favorites was Pocahontas. I got a Pocahontas Barbie doll for 3rd birthday, I dressed up as Pocahontas for Halloween that year, and I constantly watched the Pocahontas sing-a-long VHS. The reason why I love this song is because it takes me back to that time of my childhood and childhood innocence. In fact, this is probably the earliest song I can remember liking when it was out. 12. Jefferson Starship – “Miracles” (1975)This song, as well as many others from Grace, saved my life. I went through a very difficult time from March 2011-April 2013 where I felt like I hit rock bottom. By late 2012 I was going to bed at 8-9PM. By early 2013 I started listening to music significantly less. When I started checking out more Airplane and Starship out of curiosity in April 2013, I was really enjoying what I heard, but when I heard this - it f*cking changed everything. This song gave me a newfound appreciation for pop and soft rock music from the 70’s to the point where I started getting into music from the decade and calling myself a “70’s whore”. It starts out very slow, but then it gets to that chorus which is to me one of the best choruses ever. Marty and Grace’s harmonies sound amazing as usual, and this is just all around an excellent song that is very dear to my heart given the circumstances around it. My favorite song from the 70’s! 11. Alanis Morissette – “You Oughta Know” (1995)Um... come on. This is one of the most ICONIC debut singles ever (if you’re American that is, if you’re Canadian this wasn’t her debut ). This song is so angry and passionate and INCREDIBLY badass. Excellent song!

Surprised Miracles wasn't top 10! But I do expect "White Rabbit" at #1, and more Lita and Alanis in the top 10

Loving the commentary! Okay Jess, girl, 46 times is a bit much even for me when I discovered Des'ree's "Life" (although I was probably close.) And yes, Vanessa did stick out like a sore thumb

10. Celine Dion – “My Heart Will Go On” (1998)When I first started listening to the radio, this was one of the first songs I ever loved. Celine was one of my favorite singers back in the day, and her 90's music brings back a lot of nostalgia and great memories for me, this song especially. I used to always sing along to this song as a kid whenever it came on the radio, and I always got excited whenever I saw the video on VH1. I think the people who make fun of this song can go f*ck themselves. Yes, it's a sad "sappy" song, but that doesn't make it shitty. Quit being pretentious, because let's be real here - Crappi B wishes she had Celine's pipes. 9. Alanis Morissette – “Ironic” (1996)Once again, um... come on tho. Ironic? More like ICONIC. This song and music video are THE f*ckING 90'S. I loved this song ever since I was a kid and it's still a MAJOR favorite of mine now, and the fact that everything she's singing about actually isn't ironic, making the whole song itself ironic, is brilliant. Also, this is one of the best music videos ever.

8. Alanis Morissette – “Thank U” (1998)Although I loved her "Jagged Little Pill"-era singles as a kid, I never heard them until a year or two after they became hits. "Uninvited" was the first single of hers that I remember from when it was a current, but as EXCELLENT as that song is, this was a bigger deal to me since it was the lead single from a new album. I remember Unkie and my parents made fun of her a lot at the time this was out for this song's video, but I didn't care. I loved this song and I was SO HAPPY when I got "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie" on cassette for Christmas that year - in fact, some may say it was the happiest I've been since late May (Skype people will understand the reference ). In all seriousness though, every time I hear this song it takes me back to late 1998 when I was starting first grade and VH1 was f*cking awesome. Excellent song that remains my favorite from her to this day. 7. The Cranberries – “Zombie” (1994)Just gonna warn you guys... this commentary might get a little emotional. I heard this song for the first time in early 2006, I believe on someone's Launch station (or maybe it was their 90's alt station which I listened to quite a bit at that time as well). Things were never the same. I became OBSESSED with this song and The Cranberries. I thought this song was so badass, and I fell in love with Dolores O'Riordan's incredibly unique voice. This song is absolute perfection and is one of those songs that makes me think to myself, "Okay, maybe my teen years weren't THAT bad." I cannot say this enough - her death earlier this year hit me so f*cking hard and I miss her so much!!!

Alanis and the Cranberries really helped make the 90's as great as they were. Good call on both songs

6. Pat Benatar – “Invincible” (1985)Growing up in Long Island, I was familiar with Pat Benatar and heard a few of her songs on the radio as a kid and always considered myself a casual fan of hers. That changed on August 5, 2006 (don't I sound like @wife? ). XM was bringing Casey Kasem's American Top 40 to their 70's and 80's stations, and they had a marathon that weekend, so me, FreakyFlyBry, and Bebe Reptar all got free trials so we could listen together, which by the way was SO MUCH FUN to listen to! At one point, they aired an AT40 from 1985, and we did like we always did and looked for the whole chart on the Old Radio Shows website, and I saw a Pat Benatar song coming up that I didn't recognize from the title - this. I assumed I would like it since Pat always had a good track record with me, but I did NOT expect what I was about to hear. This song BLEW ME THE f*ck AWAY when I first heard it. This, to me, is the perfect "chick rock" song. It's badass and she sings her ass off! I just remember falling in love with this and losing my shit when it came on and literally yelling at FreakyFlyBry to send the song to me. This was pretty much how the Pat obsession began and this was when my opinion on her took a 180 - from being a casual fan to one of my favorite artists ever. Excellent, EXCELLENT song! 5. Lita Ford & Ozzy Osbourne – “Close My Eyes Forever” (1989)I always talk about how Grace Slick saved my life, but some may remember that Lita did too. I was going through a pretty shitty time at the time I was getting into Lita, between the struggles of high school and fitting in, my issues with body image, my family life wasn't very good at that time, and all of that even unfortunately took a toll on some of my friendships with fellow M4B members back then. The artist that comforted 15-year-old me? Lita Ford. I remember one weekend in particular I was feeling very depressed, and this was the song I kept going to, which I even found out according to Shadoe Stevens was an anti-suicide song (and a hell of a lot of a better one than Kix's borefest from that same year, "Don't Close Your Eyes"). Ozzy got a lot of shit for doing this song, but he also got a lot of shit for "Dreamer" which I honestly think is one of his best songs ever. But like "My Heart Will Go On", I don't get the hate and I find the criticism this song gets to be very snobby and pretentious. Not only do I think this was a very well done duet, but this song is very dear to my heart as it helped me through a lot of dark times. That and I also lost my shit whenever the video for this came on VH1 Classic.

If there are any artists worthy of being JessieLou queens, Pat and Lita are definitely among them. Both well-deserved!
