60Alexandra Burke - "The Silence" (2010)
Wow. Just wow. I certainly couldn't get enough of this epic track out of England back in 2010. An incredible build-up track that suited her voice perfectly. This is Alexandra's lone entry, and damn impressive to grab Top 60!
59
Robyn - "Dancing On My Own" (2010)
One of the most emotional tracks of the '10's so far, I felt like I could really relate to this song. Naturally it spent quite a while atop my chart and is a catchy, brilliant track from Robyn. This is Robyn's highest charting entry. She had one other with "Show Me Love" (#1384) but also appeared with Royksopp on "Do It Again" (#260).
58
Kylie Minogue - "Timebomb" (2012)
Oooooo this was catchy! And a non-album single from Kylie This is her 19TH entry!
57
Billy Gilman - "I Am/Shades Of Life" (2003)
I'd been a Billy fan for a few years, and then he released this album featuring poetry written by a friend of his (whom has since passed), which was then put to music. This was one of the songs I adored, which features the poet's voice, and is probably my favourite from the album. This is Billy's second entry, with only my favourite to come
56
Sam Sparro - "I Wish I Never Met You" (2012)
"You had me feeling like a crack-head, I'll squeeze you out just like a blackhead." One of my favourite lyrics in a song! I just loved, loved this song from Sam, and it's my favourite song from him. He had two others with "Black & Gold" and "21st Century Life".
55
Martina McBride - "Concrete Angel" (2002)
This heart-tugging track just blew me away as a kid, growing up listening to this. Holy cow, what a song. it made me cry and it still makes me cry. This is my favourite song by Martina! She had one other with "I Love You" (#521).
54
Orgy - "Blue Monday" (1998)
I enjoy a lot of versions of this track, but my favourite by far is from Orgy! This was just awesome! It's their lone entry.
53
Demi Lovato - "Give Your Heart A Break" (2012)
This song really blew me away in 2012! This is also my favourite entry from her. She had two others, "Really Don't Care" w/ Cher Lloyd and "Skyscraper" (#1303).
52
Mariah Carey - "Almost Home" (2013)
Another brilliant track from Mariah! This is her 13TH entry, and she's now down to my favourite to come What will it be?
51
Snow Patrol - "Chasing Cars" (2006)
This was one of those epic earworm tracks for me. Everything about it was a complete hit. This is by far my favourite song from them. They also charted with "Just Say Yes" (#1456) and "Crack The Shutters" (#1430).

505 Seconds Of Summer - "She Looks So Perfect" (2014)
Well look who it is! The boy-band I'd charted like 5 previous singles from finally had a hit, and a number 1 hit at that! Wooohoooooo, go boys! I totally went to the One Direction concert just so I could see these guys live, as they were their support act A bunch of mates who really know how to rock out. This is my favourite song by them! They had four others... "Out Of My Limit" (#1298) "Don't Stop" "Try Hard" (#364) and "Out Of My Limit" (#261)
49
Scott Helman - "Bungalow" (2014)
Ooooooo! Where did this new artist come from? I must thank Mike for me discovering this track, as I saw it on his chart and checked it out, immediately falling in love with the track. It became my number 3 track of the year 2015, but the two songs who beat it have already appeared here, so this song meant so much more over all! I loved the sound, his voice, the instruments, his innocence. I listened to an interview once where he self-described his music as "Sex-jazz" This is Scott's only entry to my countdown
48
The Vamps - "Can We Dance" (2013)
It took out #8 on my 2013 Year-End chart AND the #5 on my 2014 Year-End! That's how crazy I was about this particular track. I've also had the pleasure of seeing these guys perform a free gig in one of my city's square's, although James was sick so he wasn't there. They still sounded so awesome though! This is my favourite song by the British boys, but they had two others... "Wild Heart" (#944) and "Somebody To You" w/ Demi Lovato (#267)
47 Celine Dion & Barbra Streisand - "Tell Him" (1997)
I was a gigantic Celine fan in the late 90's, so seeing this duet in the middle half of the ARIA countdown on 'Rage' on the weekends made me jump to the ceiling. I couldn't wait for my parents to drive me to the city so I could search for Celine's CD that had this song on it. These two sounded so good together and it was just a beautiful track. This is Celine's 8th entry so far (she's doing well!), and Barbra's lone entry
46
Shanley - "Sleep" (2001)
There is a huge story behind this particular song for me. I used to come across it occasionally on CMC, and I was pretty F*cking obsessed. That's the only way I can describe it. A song as simple as this one is just absolutely blew me away. It was 2001, pre Youtube and hardly any shops I knew of stocked Australian country artist's in their stores. I just HAD to get this song. I was going insane without it, glued to CMC in the faint hope they would play it again. Even now, I can only find that one screenshot above of the music video, and I am extremely thankful that someone uploaded the music video to Youtube. You can't even find the damn song on a link anywhere from Shanley herself on her damn website! So that's two damn Aussie female artist's that have done this to me - Felicity Urquhart and now Shanley! GAH! Anyway, to cut a long story short, in a last desperate attempt, I searched for Shanley's album on Ebay (thankfully that was around then!) and ONE PERSON WAS SELLING IT AND THIS SONG WAS IN THE PLAYLIST. Even now I still wish I could hug that person for giving me life, and I wish I could thank Shanley for this song. Having said that, this is Shanley's lone entry
45
Taylor Henderson - "Already Gone" (2014)
I've always wondered how the song-writing process works, and I thought it was clever how Taylor incorporated a part of the creative process into this song via the start of the music video. I always hoped this guy would have a big future in music, and his first few releases did not disappoint for me. I love his "Burnt Letters" album. Just brilliant stuff. This is Taylor's highest charting entry! He also had... "When You Were Mine" and Borrow My Heart" (#451)
44
Serena Ryder - "Weak In The Knees" (2006)
This was another one of those stop-drop-n-roll tracks for me. It just made me stop and gape. Like, totally hit by a bus moment from the first listen. Okay, you get the point "Would you mind if I got drunk and said I wanna take you home to bed?" This is Serena's lone entry!
43
Gotye feat. Kimbra - "Somebody That I Used To Know" (2011)
I think this is a song that everyone on the planet could relate to. Who knew this would become such a big hit? I thought it would just be another one of thise Indie tracks I hear on 'Rage' at 3am. Looks like I was wrong. This is Gotye and Kimbra's lone entries.
42
S.O.A.P. - "This Is How We Party" (1998)
This is a huge hit according to 14 year-old me I could always dance around to it and it was the late 90's ultra-pop that I adored! S.O.A.P. (Sisters Organizing A Party) also appeared with "Ladidi Ladida" (#1148).
41
M2M - "Don't Say You Love Me" (1999)
What an awesome song this was from the girls This is my favourite song from M2M! They also appeared with "Everything" (#507), "Mirror Mirror" (#205) and "Pretty Boy" (#129).
Coming up...

40Savage Garden - "To The Moon And Back" (1996)
Their debut was great, and this just stepped it up a notch further. What a gorgeous song showing off Darren's vocals from the past-paced debut to this softer-track. This song spent 9 weeks at no. 1 for me in 1996. This is their 6th entry, with my favourite to come!
39
Whigfield - "Sexy Eyes" (1996)
Oh this was catchy as hell! This spent 6 weeks in the no. 1 position for me, and is (by far) my favourite song by Whigfield. She had one other with "Gimme Gimme" (#1452).
38
Madonna - "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" (1997)
Most songs from musicals took me a while to grab a hold of when I was a teenager, but this one managed to. It managed an impressive 7 weeks at no. 1 on my personal chart. It's also my very favourite song (and a cover at that!) from Madonna, so this is the end of the road for her run. She had quite a good one, with 10 other entries...
"Give Me All Ur Luvin" w/ Nicki Minaj (#1310) "Music" (#1230) "Me Against The Music" w/ Britney Spears (#1221) "Girl Gone Wild" (#1078) "Jump" (#532) "Ray Of Light" (#509) "Sorry" (#371) "Masterpiece" (#264) "Nothing Really Matters" (#245) "Frozen" (#116)
37
Celine Dion - "My Heart Will Go On" (1997)
What a beautiful song this was! To start off gentle and soft like that and build into the epic ballad it's famous for. Just stunning. 6 weeks at no. 1 for me with this track! This is Celine's 9th entry so far, but as she's one of my favourite artists of all time, she's still well in this race
36
Backstreet Boys - "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)"
Catchy stuff from the boys, with the first song I heard by them (on a compilation CD I had actually!). Watch the video if you want to see what Nick looked like then to what his little brother looks like now This is my favourite song by BSB's! They had 10 other entries... "The Call" (#1126) "Shape Of My Heart" "More Than That" "Drowning" "The One" (#608) "As Long As You Love Me" (#514) "Show Me The Meaning Of being Lonely" (#439) "I'll Never Break Your Heart" (#235) "All I Have To Give" (#106) and "I Want It That Way" (#99)
35
Donna Lewis - "I Love You Always Forever" (1996)
In at #35 is another one of those 'epicness' tracks for me, straight from the mid-90's in the form of Donna Lewis. This is a song I can always play anywhere, anytime and totally bop/rock out to it. I especially love to whilst driving along the highway 7 weeks at number 1 for this track. This is her lone entry!
34
Mariah Carey - "My All" (1998)
Oooo this was such a nice song from Mimi! It spent 4 weeks at no. 1 for me and 23 weeks in my top 10 It's also my favourite song from her! She had a huge 13 other entries... *breathes*... "It's Like That" (#1187) "Against All Odds" w/ Westlife (#1155) "Heartbreaker" (#523) "Through The Rain" (#402) "Bye Bye" (#361) "Touch My Body" (#332) "Obsessed" (#320) "Beautiful" w/ Miguel (#274) "Honey" (#237) "When You Believe" w/ Whitney Houston (#233) "Butterfly" (#113) "We Belong Together" (#73) and "Almost Home" (#52)
33
Sash! - "La Primavera" (1998)
It didn't even matter that this song wasn't in English. I was obsessed! Sash were definitely my favourite DJ's from the late 90's and it was proven with this track in particular. The music video was just stunning! Sash managed 2 other entries - "With My Own Eyes" (#1143) and "Adelente" (#135).
32
Celine Dion - "All By Myself" (1996)
Another stunning cover song, and Celine's second entry in this set. Man, I used to lay in bed and listen to this one on repeat on my cassette player Remember those things? I think I wore the tape out on her "Falling Into You" album. This mark's her 10th entry so far
31
Natalie Imbruglia - "Torn" (1997)
Wow. What an incredible debut. And it sure fooled me when I found out it was a cover. I had no idea! Well, either way, she certainly brought the song out into the limelight, as most people only recognise this version. I couldn't get enough of it! This song spent 11 WEEKS at number 1 for me It's also my favourite song by Natalie. She had three other entries... "That Day" (#1228) "Wishing I Was There" (#548) and "Shiver" (#144)
Coming up...
30 - An Australian R&B artist was a little impatient in this third single from her debut album in 2009. 29 - There were two versions of this 1997 single by two different female American country artists, both released on the same day. This was the version that was re-recorded to sound 'Less pop-like" and by a "more mature" singer. 28 - An American singer's more successful 1996 cover of a non-charting 1995 Jenny Morris single. 27 - This house/disco single was released as the second single from an Australian artist's 7th Studio album in 2000. 26 - An American singer's first single from his first solo album in 1999 about not changing who you are. 25 - This Belgian singer's first English power-ballad was released as the second single from her fourth studio album in 2000. 24 - This first single from an Australian band's debut album is considered their most successful song from 1998, and uses metaphors about modes of public transport. 23 - A Brisbane pop band's third single from their debut album in 1997. 22 - An Irish singer must explain something to you via her debut 2000 single. 21 - The fourth single from the third studio album by this Canadian country/pop artist in 1998 was recorded as a duet.

Oh wow, clean sweep! 30Jessica Mauboy - "Been Waiting" (2009)
I like a lot of Jess' songs, but THIS one was something special. It spent 7 weeks atop my personal chart in 2009 and God only knows how long in the top 10. Naturally, this is my favourite song from Jess, so she gets one Top-30 finish! She had 11 other entries... "Something's Got A Hold On Me" (12th song - just outside the 1500 at #1507) "Get 'Em Girls" w/ Snoop Dogg "Because" (#1018) "Gotcha" (#926) "Pop A Bottle (Fill Me Up" (#912) "Beautiful" "What Happened To Us" w/ Jay Sean "Galaxy" w/ Stan Walker (#885) "Never Be The Same" (#590) "Burn" (#328) "Running Back" w/ Flo Rida (#321) and "Inescapable" (#204)
29
Trisha Yearwood - "How Do I Live" (1997)
Both versions (hers and LeAnn's) were in the ARIA Top 50 at once, but Trisha's was clearly ahead well in the top 10 whilst LeAnn's hovered around the 40-mark. Plus LeAnn was only like 14 when she recorded hers. I personally preferred Trisha's anyway. I was a big country fan as well as a pop fanatic and this just sounded a lot more collected to me than LeAnn's. A beautiful song. This is Trisha's lone entry to my countdown, as her pre-'96 singles weren't eligible
28
Belinda Carlisle - "In Too Deep" (1996)
No, this isn't the awesome Sum41 version you all know and love This is an even better song! You know what gets me about this song? Not just that it's a cool musical composition, but her vibrato!!! Holy heck! This is a song I can play any-time, anywhere. This is Belinda's lone entry to my countdown
27
Kylie Minogue - "On A Night Like This" (2000)
The epic follow-up to "Spinning Around", this was a track I could totally dance around the house to And boy oh boy, did I ever? And let's face it, as IF Queen-Kylie wouldn't have a Top 30 entry! This does however bring up her 21ST entry And she has my favourite to come. Which epic Kylie track has yet to appear? Will the impossible princess be crowned?
26
Joey McIntyre - "Stay The Same" (1999)
Holy epicness of epics! What. A. Song. Encouraging, easy-listening, soaring vocals, a choir and a key-change made this 1999 track an instant favourite for me. I forget how I even first heard it, but I do remember finding it somewhere and playing the house down like every day. My parents must have thought I was going insane needing lyrics like this to cheer me up every day It spent 7 weeks at number 1 for me. This is Joey's lone entry, but I can easily say this is one of my favourite songs of all time and it can join the greats
25
Lara Fabian - "I Will Love Again" (2000)
"I will love again even if it takes a lifetime to get over you." You know I'm getting down to the crunch when incredible power-house songs like this are showing up on the countdown. No less than at #25 of course. I think I actually first heard this song via one of my ex-boyfriends. He showed it to me and I'm pretty sure my jaw hit the ground and even now, 16 years later, I'm still picking it up off the ground. She released a remix music-music to this also recently, but nothing will beat this original. Wow, just wow. It spent 7 weeks at number 1 for me back in 2000. This is Lara's lone entry to my countdown Now, who the heck could have beaten a track like that?
24
Bachelor Girl - "Buses And Trains" (1998)
What an absolutely awesome song this was. I'm pretty sure it was on repeat, constantly, on my walkman as I strutted along during my daily duties. Haha! I can reveal that this is my 6th favourite Australian song in my entire countdown Bachelor Girl had two other entries!... "Lucky Me" (#231) and "Drowning (Not Waving)" (#139). "Permission To Shine" just missed the countdown
23
Savage Garden - "Truly Madly Deeply" (1997)
My 5th favourite Aussie song! What a beautiful track this is! Holy emotion-balls! And how cool does the piano start sound with the drums? And what is that half-way through, a sitar? And Darren uses his vibrato noticeably in this track, which I love! This song not only topped the Billboard 100, but it spent 8 weeks at my Number 1! This is also my favourite song by Savage Garden! They had 6 other entries (and 3 Top-100's!)... "The Animal Song" "Crash And Burn" (#1192) "Hold Me" "I Knew I Loved You" (#123) "Affirmation" (#89) and "To The Moon And Back" (#40)
22
Samantha Mumba - "Gotta Tell You" (2000)
One of my favourite songs of the first year of the Naughties! I couldn't get enough of this track from Samantha. Such cool choreography in the music video also She chases an aeroplane on foot! She has an impressive finish, with this being my favourite song of hers, and had two other entries... "Baby Come On Over" (#459) and "Always Come Back To Your Love" (#418)
21
Shania Twain feat. Brian White - "From This Moment On" (1998)
They called this song 'The Wedding Song of the millennium.' Yep, I can see that! Such an epic love-ballad this one was. I remember "You're Still The One" had just given up the Top spot here in Australia, when this one shortly replaced it My gosh Shania, relinquish the number 1 spot, will ya? This song really was something stunning. No way else to describe it. Why can't artists sing songs like this anymore? And the music video does it justice. This is my favourite song by Shania. She had 6 other entries... "Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You" (#1220) "No One Needs To Know" (#1122) "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" (#1062) "If You're Not In It For Love (I'm Outta Here) "That Don't Impress Me Much" (#209) and "You're Still The One"

20Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe (2011)
Youtube actually sent me an email telling me that I was one of the first 1000 viewers of this music video, because it went viral. I was like 'Holy crap, I was one of the first people to hear this!' Well, out of the 800M views it has now anyway. This was sooooo catchy and cute, I couldn't help but get wrapped up in it. I even did my own lipsync to it back when I didn't know the words I think it's floating around the internet somewhere. This is my favourite entry from Carly Rae! She had two other entries... "Beautiful" w/ Justin Bieber (#586) and "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" (#256)
19
Celine Dion - "I Drove All Night" (2003)
It should be no surprise to see the best female artist of all time this high in my countdown This particular song was a cover, but man, did I love it or what!? It helped that I could totally relate to the song. When I was 18, I used to drive for 2 hours every night in each direction to go visit my boyfriend at the time who lived in the middle of nowhere. Of course, I would play this song during the drive, and even the lyrics 'crept in your room to make love to you' were real in my life also. I used to hoist myself up on the tank-stand and jump through his bedroom window and wake him up Ohhhhh to be young again Anyway, this song is awesome and spent an incredible 10 weeks at my number 1 spot, and is Celine's 11th entry. She's down to my favourite to come

Toni Braxton - "Unbreak My Heart" (1996)
It blows my mind that Toni didn't like this song when she first heard it, and had to be convinced to record it! I can't imagine this being sang by anyone else but her. It quickly became one of my favourite songs from the 90's. How she almost whispers parts of the music in this, wow. Brilliant song. It spent 7 weeks atop my chart in '96, and I only started my first chart mid that-year. This is my favourite song by Toni. She had two others... "He Wasn't Man Enough For Me" (#1388) and "Spanish Guitar"

Kylie Minogue - "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" (2001)
I certainly could not get this song out of my head! Hol-ly this was some catchy stuff. Every part of it. Naturally, this is my favourite charting single from Kylie, and my fourth favourite Australian song. I've seen four of her national tours here so far, and I wish I could have attended more! I think I used to even attempt the dance in this music video Anyway, I'll be here forever if I don't get onto the TWENTY-TWO other songs from Kylie that appeared *breathes*... "Kids" w/ Robbie Williams (#1153) "Beautiful" w/ Enrique Iglesias "Breathe" "Slow" (#1075) "Some Kind Of Bliss" (#1058) "Higher" w/ Taio Cruz (#477) "In Your Eyes" (#448) "Come Into My World" (#416) "Giving You Up" (#388) "Love At First Sight" (#376) "2 Hearts" (#363) "Better Than Today" (#305) "I Believe In You" (#213) "Get Outta My Way" (#186) "Wow" (#166) "Into The Blue" (#160) "Please Stay" (#158) "All The Lovers" (#152) "Spinning Around" (#128) "Your Disco Needs You" (#87) "Timebomb" (#58) "On A Night Like This" (#27)

Steve Grand - "All-American Boy" (2013)
What was THIS!? A gay-themed country song? How risque! You don't make songs like this. But I'm suuuuure glad Steve did with this incredible debut single. This is the sort of song that not only got stuck in my head, but I'd sing along really emotionally to it each and every single time I played it, and that was a hell of a lot, as is evident by this song spending 17 WEEKS on top of my chart in 2013. That is over 4 months! Anyone would think this was my version of JessieLou 's "Hello" by Adele This is my favourite song by Steve. He had one other with "Stay" (#405)

Britney Spears - "...Baby One More Time" (1998)
"Hit me baby one more time!" Oooo yeah, what a pop-tastic debut single from the 90's. I think '98 needed this song. It set a benchmark. So so catchy and so so pop! It spend 6 weeks at number 1 for me. The world was gonna have to keep an ear out for this young girl (pre-Jason Alexander Vegas wedding, Kevin Federline and '07 meltdown that is ). This is the 19th and my favourite entry from Britney! She had... "Do Somethin'" (#1470) "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" (#1347) "Me Against The Music" w/ Madonna (#1221) "You Drive Me Crazy" (#1131) "Til The World Ends" (#1009) "Circus" (#992) "Hold It Against Me" (#897) "Piece Of Me" (#894) "If You Seek Amy" "Stronger" "Work Bitch" "Oops! I Did It Again!" (#530) "Toxic" (#526) "3" (#315) "Perfume" (#255) "Everytime" (#223) "Sometimes" (#101) and "Lucky" (#85)

Declan Galbraith - "An Angel" (2006)
*Falls over and dies* Yes, another cover song, but what a BEAUTIFUL rendition! I adore songs with violins in them, and add a voice like this with the VIBRATO he has, Hol-ly, and from some English kid I'd never heard of?? And just wait until he hits the bridge in this song and then back into the final chorus! I was literally picking my jaw up off the floor. It spent 9 weeks at number 1 for me in '06. This is Declan's lone entry

Aqua - "Barbie Girl" (1997)
It doesn't get much more bubblegum-pop than this song, and I was loving it!!! I remember being particularly obsessed with the "ooo-ah-ooo"-hook that Lene sings. This song spent 8 weeks at number 1 Aqua also charted with "Dr. Jones" and "Around The World".

No Doubt - "Don't Speak" (1996)
An incredible song out of the U.S. which went straight to the top of our ARIA charts, this was really catchy and well-written. When you look at how well Gwen is doing now, go back 20 YEARS to when this song was released, written about an ex-boyfriend. A clear favourite rock track of mine. It spent 5 weeks on top of my hand-written charts. No Doubt had one other entry with "It's My Life".

Darren Hayes - "Bloodstained Heart" (2011)
I first came across this song on a music blog, and naturally checked it out. It ended up becoming my favourite song of 2011 AND my 7th favourite of 2012 Just brilliant writing and composition, in my opinion. And, again, violins in their somewhere. I just love Darrens vocals! he had 6 other entries... "Pop!ular" (#1496) "I Miss You" (#1050) "Strange Relationship" "So Beautiful" (#612) "insatiable" (#275) and "Crush (1980 Me)" (#226)
We have now reached the TOP 10!!! I may provide clues soon, and I know I haven't been on m4B as long as a lot of you, but can anyone guess who might be in my Favourite-10? If you've been following along, you may have an idea of the artist who still has one-to-go, but maybe not the song? Anyway, just throwing it out there. I can now reveal where the final 10 artists are from.
USA = 4 Canada = 2 Australia = 2 U.K = 1 Puerto Rico = 1
EDIT... Coming up...
10 - An American country music artist's second single from her 4th studio album in 1999 is in the past. 9 - An American pop artist covered a 1999 American rock band's single via her 2002 version which she sang in a movie she starred in. 8 - An Australian recording duo's second single from their second album in 2007 was also quite a big m4bcc Globalchart hit. 7 - The lead single from the debut full-length album by this American artist in 2007 could be a trick. 6 - The third single from the third studio album by this Canadian artist in 1996 was quite typical.
