pre-shit Black Eyed Peas I was 18 when that one came out, so I loved it then. It's kinda bare-able these days, so still gets a minor hit outside the top 1500

I thought you would've said that about the LMFAO/Lil Jon track too "I Just Had Sex" is the funniest song and video, yet has a good sound too. It just had to make this list. "I cried the whole time" "Doesn't matter, had sex.""She put a bag on my head." "Still counts!" All correct

1500 - Brandon Flowers - Crossfire (2010) - I first heard "Crossfire" on my car radio on my way to work when I did overnight shifts until 5am (never again lol). It was the first solo single I'd heard from the Killers frontman so I just had to assume it was his first solo project. Normally I'm skeptical when a lead singer decides to branch out on their own because I feel they need their own style, and this song appeared to show that. I'm gradually hearing his newer stuff, but this was just a gem that grew on me, and comes in at number #1500!
1499 - Pitbull feat. TJR - Don't Stop The Party (2012) - I know, I know. Mr. Same-polo-shirt-and-trousers makes it into my favourite songs. Wait. What? This song was one of Pitbull's first songs I heard, so it was (kinda) before he decided to collaborate on every other God-damn artists singles. I never really heard from TJR since this one, but it was a catchy, boppy track that didn't make me wanna change the station.
1498 - The Collective - Burn The Bright Lights (2014) - The song takes a little bit to get to the bridge, but it's a beautiful little melody when it does. The chorus is just nice and I think the boys sound good together. This is the lowest of three entries from The Collective in my countdown.
1497 - Guy Sebastian - Like It Like That (2009) - What a fun little boppy number this was. After not initially being a Guy Sebastian fan, this was released in 2009 and I couldn't help but sway and bop along to the happy beats and instruments played by the band.
1496 - Darren Hayes - Pop!ular (2004) - This song (I thought) was a bit of tongue-in-cheek to how Darren would be seen as a newly solo-artist. I never really got it because I thought he already was pop!ular from riding the pop!ularity of Savage Garden's success. He even promotes himself in the music video when he gets on the bus haha. I quite liked the sound of this and it's good enough to get stuck in my head for a while.
Coming up...
1495 - The acid-jazz band already had a song outside the 1500, but their hearts started thumpin' with their first in it. 1494 - This Melbourne underground dance musician had a lone ARIA Top 15 single with a female featured artist in 1999. 1493 - An acronym'd girl band don't want no-one holler at them in this comeback single. 1492 - You'll put your feet back on the ground when you hear this tropical-sounding dance hit from 1997. 1491 - This X-Factor winner's debut single hit number 1 in 34 countries.

I love that Brandon made the top 1500, even if it's at the very bottom. Although seeing Pitbull (especially with that song, one of my least favourites of his), right above him is saddening. I like The Collective but much prefer the two songs I assume you have still to come from them. I really enjoyed Pop!ular too.
I'm enjoying trying to work out what the songs are from the clues without looking anything up. I feel pretty confident on two of the latest, know another artist but not the song, another one I have a guess but I'm not sure if it fits. And then I have no idea on one of them.
