It's been just shy of 24 years since Sting made his first appearance on my chart, with "Brand New Day", on November 28, 1999. Now he has his first #1, collaborating with Marshmello and Pink on "Dreaming".

While not a record, The Calling first debuted about 22 and a half years ago for me with "Wherever You Will Go". They finally get their first #1 this week with "Stand Up Now".

Chris Cornell has the record on my chart, first debuting October 2015 with "Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart" and earning his first #1 four years and nine months later with "Patience" in August 2020. The record has since been broken on my chart by Metallica. They debuted on my chart in October 2016 with "Moth Into Flame" and earned their first #1 six years and two months later with "Lux Æterna" in December 2022.
