We should expect an interesting move for "Everytime We Touch" on the Hot 100 this week!

Mmmm...well, it is doing well (#12) on downloads...but I don't think the move will be too interesting...I hope it will be in the top 20, but Sebastian thinks around #23 and I have to say...I think around there sounds right. Its #20 in airplay or whatnot and #12 downloads...so who knows. Most Cascada fans do not know that the album is released because this was a malfunction. I don't think we will see an interesting move for Cascada until Feb. 21 when it is released officially...in stores and to the rest of the downloading systems.

I know I said #23, but I'm going to take that back and predict that it'll peak at #16, on account of this release.

I previewed the album, it sounds okay... except the awful cover of "Truly Madly Deeply".

Wait - peak at #16? Or rise to #16 next week? And why did you change your name from Sebastian to Druggie?

Wait - peak at #16? Or rise to #16 next week? I predict that it will rise to #23 on Feb. 25, but eventually peak at #16.

Why did you change your name from Sebastian to Druggie? I didn't change my name. My real name is Sebastian. The Druggie thing is a joke between me and Gerardo. (see the "Ask Sebastian Anything" thread to figure it out.)

Nah. I think it'll peak way higher than #16. The song's airplay is still rising and some new stations are starting to play it. Robbins, the record company, says they are sure it will be top 10. How can it not? Its downloads are huge.

BTW Everytime We Touch is a cover also - of a tune written by Maggie Reilly and recorded on her 1992 CD Echoes.

Its not really a cover, so to speak, its a rip-off...or rather, it 'samples' from Maggie Rielly's "Everytime We Touch" with the chorus. The verses and the dance beats are completely different...the chorus is a bit different as well in Rielly's version too. Hers is a soft-pop rock song,.
I think Cascada's rising to #18 next week on Billboard.
