Its not really a cover, so to speak, its a rip-off...or rather, it 'samples' from Maggie Rielly's "Everytime We Touch" with the chorus. The verses and the dance beats are completely different...the chorus is a bit different as well in Rielly's version too. Hers is a soft-pop rock song,. I think Cascada's rising to #18 next week on Billboard. OK, then it's based on the Reilly track. I haven't heard it for a long time, I think it's on a tape I made more than 10 years ago...

Can't understand what all the remixing, remaking, and sampling is all about... Are there NO original ideas left??

"Bad Boy" and "Miracle" were the previous singles by Cascada. They were not covers or rip-offs and did not sample from any other songs...ironically they did not make an impression on the charts, airplay statistics. "Everytime" is #27 on the Hot 100, one of out less than 10 trance sonbgs to make past 90 on the chart. I guess mainstream radio listeners/audiences don't care for original ideas...because there are plenty of them left... Kiss You bi iiO was a phenomenal song...it made #163. Gold Digger sampled from a Ray Charles song version/cover by Jamie Foxx...it made #1.
Why don't you complain about the lack of original ideas somewhere else.

Why don't you complain about the lack of original ideas somewhere else. Hell............he could pick any artist and make a legimit case about lack of original ideas. All pop albums lately seem to sound the same anyways............
