Definitely their best, without a doubt. Even though there are two or three songs that I'd lump really closely with it.

12. Roxette - The LookI probably knew this one when it was out, but I was only six years old at the time, so I wouldn't really remember But it's one that has held up very well through the years, and remained a favourite of mine. Roxette songs always had catchy melodies that stuck in my head, and made their songs instantly likeable, and this one, like many of their others, has had the lasting appeal to rank it high on my all-time chart. It's also the highest entry by a Swedish act.

11. R.E.M. - Losing My ReligionThis song has one of the catchiest melodies I've heard... and while R.E.M. is one band who's shown consistency through their career, this song has always been their standout hit. It's easy to follow along with, sing along to, and has great lyrics too. However, it wasn't quite enough to make it into my top 10... so there are 10 songs that finished ahead of the excellent "Losing My Religion".

One of the best songs ever, and it definitely has earned its position. I absolutely love it. It's only second to Everybody Hurts for me! ;D

10. Queen - Bohemian RhapsodyIt's generally considered one of the best songs ever... and such a groundbreaking song has definitely made its mark with me. It's one I've always liked, but after learning how to play it on electronic organ, I appreciated its full complexity more, and realized how great it really always was. It's one of the few songs from 30 years ago that has stood the test of time... play it alongside other songs from its era, and "Bohemian Rhapsody" definitely stands out. What better way to kick off my top 10 of all time than with such a classic? It's also the highest-ranking song from the 1970's in the list.

A prime example of classic rock. Even though it's certainly not my type of music, I can still appreciate it for what it is. ;D

Now THIS is how you kick off a top 10! Come on, Bohemian Rhapsody? It's worship-worthy.
*Gets down on knees, starts to bow*
An absolute masterpiece!

9. No Doubt - Don't SpeakI'd enjoyed their previous 2 singles a lot.. but it was this one that managed to really get my attention. It remained a long-term favourite of mine throughout the end of 1996 and well into 1997... and nothing they've done since has managed to quite capture the greatness of this classic. And no matter how great a song like this has remained, eight songs managed to beat it out!
