Troye is hit or miss for me, but Rush was solid. Jung Kook also hit or miss for me, but SNTY will be moving up for me. Seven went top 10 and 3D was just meh. Niall in the top half

45 - Elle King - "Try Jesus"
Hahaha! Yesssss! Well, she last had a hit for me with her duet with Miranda Lambert, "Drunk (And I Wanna Go Home - #29 on my 2021 Year-End Chart) I was loving this one from her! My 4th fav country song. 44 - Amy Sheppard - "Blue Guitar"
And here's my 3rd fav country song. It was a surprise to hear that she makes her own music in a different genre, as I love her as part of Sheppard. I just really liked the melody of this, whih got stuck in my head and I often found myself walking around humming it. 43 - Stephen Sanchez - "Until I Found You"
This song took out number TWO on my 2022 Year-End Chart, and here it is again in the TOP 50 here. Man, a song has to be good to do that (along with having ideal release timing I guess, but not many songs achieve this!) Just his voice, and an endorsement from Elton John himself about how good this debut song is/was! 42 - Devon Cole - "Hey Cowboy"
Not a country song, but the video could be! This was a boppy one from Devon that was an earworm for me! 41 - Bonnie McKee - "SLAY"
It's always tough to try and match a song like "American Girl", but I feel she did pretty well with this one. Definitely a Top 10 hit for me this year. Coming up... the Top 40!
40 - This Japanese-British artist sang to us from the pits of darkness and fire 39 - A U.S. punk-pop songstress made sure to let us know she was gonna groove and boogie 38 - An Australian pop princess made sure we grabbed onto something immediately 37 - The sister of #38 released this LGBT reality TV theme song! 36 - This Irish artist let us know he was being patient

40 - Rina Sawayama - "This Hell"
This epic song did well enough to chart in the Top 40 two years in a row! Such a great song from Rina!39 - P!nk - "Never Gonna Not Dance Again"
What a great lead single this was from P!nk! Thinking of going to see her live again when she's here again next year, as she sees Australia as her second home (she was talking about moving here, but unsure if that's still on the cards) 38 - Kylie Minogue - "Hold On To Now"
From the most anticipated album of the year I mean, every song on the album is unreal, and this was great from Kylie! This one is one of FOUR entries in the Top 40 from Kylie, which is nothing unusual 37 - Dannii Minogue - "We Could Be The One"
Ohh this was a nice surprise. Dannii hosting another reality show (of the same name), and an LGBT one at that? So cute, and the references to her sister's lead single in the show had me (and the contestants) screaming It was catchy too! She will be hosting the lesbian version of the show next year.36 - Cian Ducrot - "I'll Be Waiting"
Ohh I couldn't get enough of this song this year. It was on repeat!Up next...
35 - This Canadian pop/country artist decided to ride horses in this second single 34 - This Aussie pop artist and Australian Idol judge had eyes for one person 33 - A U.S. pop singer-songwriter, and American Idol contestant, sang about a fairytale princess at her wit's end 32 - A British artist sang about an ocean gem 31 - The artist at #32 collab'd with an Irish artist in this crazy song

Until I Found you is solid. It was at its tail-end of its run when the year started so it won't make my year-end.
I'll Be Waiting had a short run for here but still managed a #12 peak.

35 - Shania Twain - "Giddy Up!"
A return to her roots for Shania! Yep, it was good enough to have a boogie to This is the second-highest Canadian entry this year 34 - Amy Shark - "Only Wanna Be With You"
She makes different pop music, and it just hits. She knew she had to do something different to stand out, so changed her surname for a predatory ocean animal and made songs like this one 33 - Jax - "Cinderella Snapped" (#1 for one week!)
And here is the first entry that went all the way to the top! Yep! This went to the top for a single week for me this year. I just absolutely could not get enough of it upon it's release, and really, I don't blame Cinderella after all the sh!t she had to put up with 32 - Jessie Ware - "Pearls"
Not a bad year for Jessie with her releases, and this was a catchy one! "Shake it til the pearls fall off!" 31 - Jessie Ware & Roisin Murphy - "Freak Me Now"
And here's Jessie again! (with a little help from Roisin). This one was a bit more dancey. Check out the outfits in this music video if you need some style tips Coming up! The Top 30! 30 - A country alter-ego sang about how he can't resist sleeping with attractive guys 29 - In this duet between an American diva and a German legend, they only want each other 28 - This Indiana singer-songwriter was worried you may not find her that interesting 27 - This Canadian group want you to enjoy the season, but they won't be there with you 26 - This Los Angeles rock band really belted out that they were living

30 - Dixon Dallas - "Good Lookin'"
Ha! Brilliant. About time we had a straight hip-hop artist singing gay songs in a country genre Gay-baiting, whatever, this was so good, and catchy. 29 - Anastacia & Peter Maffay - "Just You"
This is a gorgeous duet from Anastacia and Peter! From my #1 most listened to artist this year (according to Spotify. not Youtube) And who doesn't love a saxophone interlude? Anastacia's still not done yet! 28 - Sara Kays - "Bored" (1 week at #1!)
It's another chart-topper! Omg, this was one of those songs that just hit me! I'll still go back to this song because once I relate to a song as much as this one, it becomes a mainstay. 27 - Valley - "Have A Good Summer (Without Me)"
One of my favourite Canuck bands, Valley were back with this catchy one! They actually had a song reach #18 on my 2021 Year-End chart also, so definitely a band I'm into these past few years. This is the highest Canadian song on my 2023 Year-End chart! 26 - The Scarlet Opera - "Alive"
Where did this band come from!? My God, I'm so glad they did. It's like a genre I hadn't heard much of before, maybe theatrical/Broadway pop/rock? If they ever tour here, I'll certainly be going that's for sure. Up next!
25 - This Australian Idol contestant (but not winner) does it all by herself! 24 - This time it's an American Idol (winner) singing about her drug of choice 23 - An English singer-songwriter (from an Irish background) sang about many darknesses 22 - Another American Idol winner! This one was a bit scared to show his heart 21 - This U.S. pop/country artist noticed us making her a billionaire this year

What a nice surprise we got this year by having Dixon Dallas. He's sort of the horny cousin of Steve Grand. lol. Dixon will appear a couple times on my year end

76 - Cat Burns - "Know That You're Not Alone"
Songs with messages like this almost always hit my senses hard, and mix them with a good melody and I'm hooked. It's the first song I'd heard by this artist, and I was impressed. Ooooh! If you enjoyed "Know That You're Not Alone", you should take a listen to "People Pleaser" and "Go"!
