Good to see the Goo Goo Dolls make it in, I found that to be a return to form and it's still to come on my year-end! Also good to see Kylie, Kygo, The 1975, Natalie, Hanson (was good to hear this at their concert this summer!), Demi (AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!), Pink, Avril's original of Breakaway (another artist I saw live in 2022 - she didn't do this one though), and Ed/Taylor in here too

50Fefe Dobson - "Fckn In Love"(26 points)Fefe's been around for about 20 years now, but hasn't had a hit on my chart since "Stuttering" in 2010, so it was nice to hear her back with this catchy one this year.49Cornelia Jakobs - "Hold Me Closer"(26 points)We all know I love my Eurovision (I even attended in 2018 in Portugal!) so I always look forward to all the songs, and especially the Swedish winner, as they are usually a hit on my chart. This was no exception 48Sasha Alex Sloan - "I Blame The World"(28 points)Formerly Sasha Sloan, she decided she wanted everyone to know her middle name I couldn't get enough of this track from her this year! Some of the lyrics in this really make me think.47Dermot Kennedy - "Something To Someone"(28 points)What's with all these male solo singers with good voices lately? Great tune!46Amy Shark - "Only Wanna Be With You"(28 points)Currently up pretty high on my chart, Amy's made the year-end Top 50 with this one already! 45Jaguar Jonze - "Little Fires"(29 points)A local gal, this was the first real hit for me from Jaguar this year, her entry from "Australia Decides" 44Kelly Clarkson - "Happier Than Ever"(29 points)The original from Billie did NOTHING for me, and when I heard Kelly had covered it I was like, "Umm, okay..." - proof I should never underestimate Jekky! This was unreal. She even used a curseword!
43Dreamfone - "Talking To Myself"(29 points)Not sure where this song came from (probably Spotify) but I couldn't get enough of it! The first hit from them for me.
42 Why Don't We - "Love Back" (30 points)
One of those boy-bands who are really hit or miss for me, but mostly hit. This was actually #6 on my 2011 Year-End, which means I enjoyed it so much, it still gets into my Top 50 this year!
41 Rina Sawayama - "Frankenstein" (30 points)
A great year for Rina! She took out my #2 last year with Elton John on "Chosen Family", and this is only her first appearance on this year's chart (there may be more)! I'm also seeing her live in two weeks

40Anitta - "Boys Don't Cry"(31 points)Where did this song come from? Such a catchy track from the Brazillian artist, and takes out #40 on my year-end chart!39Ava Max - "Million Dollar Baby"(31 points)Another great song from Ava Max!
38 Masked Wolf & Bebe Rexha - "It's You, Not Me (Sabotage)" (33 points)
What a great rap-rendition this turned out to be (Of Bebe's original "Sabotage", which took out #94 on last year's year-end chart). It's very rare a rap-track gets this high on a year-end, but it works well here.
37Betty Who - "BIG"(33 points)Another big hit for me from Betty Who this year, who has more than one entry in my year-end Top 50, so she has a bigger one to come! Such an uplifting song.
36New Rules - "Really Wanna Dance With You"(34 points)A song I actually discovered on this year's M4BCC Song Contest, this ended up becoming a hit on my chart!35 Sophie Ellis-Bextor feat. Wuh Oh - "Hypnotized" (37 points) (1 week at #1)
Always so good when one of my favourite artists releases a surprise single! I followed her kitchen disco's throughout Covid lockdowns and I got to see her perform live this year with a friend who flew up from Melbourne to see her with me! Such good memories and a great song. I loved how in an interview here, she was asked why she pronounces it 'zed' in the song, and she answered, "Because then it wouldn't rhyme!"
34 Kylie Minogue & Years And Years - "A Second To Midnight" (41 points)
Another multi-year-end hit, this took out my #5 on last year's chart!
33 Kygo - "Freeze" (42 points)
Oh yes! What a track this turned out to be. I found myself hitting the repeat button, and I don't do that often these days. Always such a peaceful lyrical-listen when I put this one on.
32 Josh Setterfield - "Better Off" (43 points)
This seemed to be one of those tracks that only I liked And not only did I like it, I honestly think it was my most played song of 2022! I originally heard it on Spotify's "New Music Friday" and was instantly hooked, and it spent a long time at #1 on my country music chart. I'm still not sick of it.
31Halsey - "So Good"(43 points)Omg how good is Halsey's music!? She tends to hover around the top half of my chart with her singles, and this was her biggest hit yet for me.

30Rina Sawayama - "Hold The Girl"(44 points)Another hit for Rina! This is her second appearance, with more to come 29Kim Petras - "Coconuts"(48 points)(2 weeks at #1)The first time I heard this, I burst out laughing. It spent two weeks at the top.Lyric standout - "I gave 'em different names - Mary-Kate and Ashley"28Dylan - "No Romeo"(49 points)Another catchy track from Dylan!27Nicky Youre & Dazy - "Sunroof"(49 points)This was a feel-good Summer-y track from Nicky Youre!26Dermot Kennedy - "Kiss Me"(49 points)He appeared at #47 already with "Something To Someone" and gets a second year-end chart entry here! 25Lauv - "All 4 Nothing (I'm So In Love)"(51 points)Lauv tends to do pretty well on my charts, and this was his biggest hit for me this year!24Lady Gaga - "Hold My Hand"(52 points)(2 weeks at #1)Always so good to get a new single from Lady Gaga, because I know it's going to be good.
23Betty Who - "Blow Out My Candle"(53 points)(1 week at #1)Her lyrics are just SO good. Was loving this one from Betty. This is her second year-end chart entry this year, with "BIG" appearing at #37!
22Jessie Ware - "Free Yourself"(53 points)I enjoy quite a few of Jessie's singles, and this was her biggest hit for me in a while!
21 Emeline - "Strut" (54 points)
Still a fairly recent song in my chart, this still gained enough points to just miss the top 20!

20Troye Sivan - "Angel Baby"(56 points)Well, I saw this happening. It took out #15 on LAST year's Year-End countdown (2021), and gets Top 20 AGAIN this year. It's bloody impressive if a song can do that, which this song certainly was, entering and soaring past the 52-week club on my chart before finally departing only a short time ago. Troye really knows how to change up his sound at such a young age, and this was just perfection. 19The Knocks feat. Dragonette - "Slow Song"(56 points) (1 week at #1) Whenever Dragonette releases a track, I get excited, so to see them featured in this track, I had to check it out, and I wasn't disappointed. Lovely to see they cast Aquaria in the music video too!18Kelsea Ballerini - "Heartfirst"(56 points) (1 week at #1)Kelsea is one of those country artists with consistant hits, and I couldn't get enough of this cute track!17Rina Sawayama - "Catch Me In The Air"(60 points) (2 weeks at #1)Even I surprised myself when I saw where this song ended up on the Year-End chart! It spent 2 weeks at the top and was then a consistant song around the top 10 I can't wait to see her sing it live!16Reba McEntire feat. Dolly Parton - "Does He Love You"(69 points)An awesome rendition of Reba's original hit, Dolly was on board! Two absolute legends.15Lexi Jayde - "Hate To Be You"(74 points) (1 week at #1) This was an absolute earworm for me! Lexi's first major hit on my chart!14Shawn Mendes - "When You're Gone"(75 points)(3 weeks at #1)This was something special from Shawn this year! Couldn't get enough of it.13Lizzo - "About Damn Time"(77 points)(1 week at #1)Omg how good was this from Lizzo!? Definitely knows how to make the hits!12Mimi Webb - "House On Fire"(79 points)She was last year's Year-End-Chart WINNER with "Good Without", and this year she gets another Top 15 with this cheeky track. I also had the honour of getting to see her perform live this year, which was definitely one of my highlights of 2022.11Carly Rae Jepsen - "Talking To Yourself"(80 points)(1 week at #1) I was a little bit worried after the first few releases this year from Carly-Rae, which hung around the base of my chart, but then she released THIS one and I was like, "Oh YES!", so she was back to form and gaining another #1 with this catchy song!
Up next, Top 10 of 2022!
