1455 - Alicia Keys - Fallin' (2001) - What a stunning debut single to release! She probably didn't know back then that this song would become the most over-sung American Idol audition track of all time.
It's just gorgeous.
- Back when Janet was releasing gorgeous tracks, this from her "All For You" album. My personal favourite album from her is "The Velvet Rope" but this song was a lovely little track from the album after that one. Just love her air-y voice in this easy-listening track.
1453 - Friendly - I Love You, But... (2000) - "I love you but you treat me like shit so you can just f*ck off" They are pretty much the only words in this song and I know not everyone will like this song, but for some reason it was just one of those Aussie DJ tracks that hit the ARIA charts and I quite liked the sound at the time. It's the only song from him to make my countdown. Probably one of my most obscure hits.
1452 - Whigfield - Gimme Gimme (1996) - I adored this track! It's so happy, so campy and was complete pop-dance and therefore a blessing to my ears. Even the na-na-na's! I should have known I was gay at age 12 when I was loving stuff like this It only hit the chart in two countries (#14 here in Australia, and surprisingly, #4 in Spain). Clearly it was at the top of my personal charts in 1996.
1451 - Tina Arena - If I Didn't Love You (1997) - This song only charted and peaked at #41 in Australia. I loved a lot of Tina's post-"Chains" tracks, this being one of them. I liked the almost haunting-sounds of the music and, wow, hot- damn she hits some good notes in this song!
Coming up...
1450 - A morning-after single from this Aussie boyband, who currently perform a Mo-town themed show on the Las Vegas strip. 1449 - A Hot & Juicy remixed 1998 house track about being on-heat. 1448 - American post-grunge band's name will keep your car running. This was their debut single. 1447 - A wedding/love song from a very hot temperature boyband. 1446 - A UK duet from an X-Factor winner and an ex Spice Girl.

1450 - Human Nature - Telling Everybody (1997) - I actually thought this was Human Nature's debut single for years, so was surprised to learn it was actually their second. I guess this one just showed me who they were. I initially gave it a slight-play, but it soon grew on me!
1449 - Mousse T VS Hot 'N' Juicy - Horny (1998) - Well then! Despite this lustful track destroying my innocent little Christian mind back in the late 90's, DAMN it had a catchy beat!
1448 - Fuel - Shimmer (1998) - One of the first 'rockier' songs that I really enjoyed! A great debut from them.
1447 - 98 Degrees - I Do (Cherish You) (2000) - Bring on the sappiness! What a beautiful song. I used to just lay in bed and listen to this over and over, dreaming of... well, love, one day.
1446 - Matt Cardle & Melanie C - Loving You (2013) - Ahhh, what a gorgeous song lyrically! This song made my Year End chart in 2013 and was such an awesome song to me. These two sound amazing together!
Coming up... 1445 - This Latino bombshell wants us to make a hell of a lot of noise. 1444 - A 3-lettered-band club hit about this time at night 1443 - A hashtag-hit that snapped a photo of itself last year. 1442 - Aussie band singing about f*cking the reigning Queen Of Pop. 1441 - This ex-'Neighbours' star singing something you would probably say to a dog.

1445 - Jennifer Lopez - Let's Get Loud (2000) - I loved that she released a live music video for this single. It just made the song so much cooler than it already was.
1444 - ATB - 9PM (Til I Come) (1998) - I believe this was one of the first club-hits I heard, and with so many remixes I just loved it.
1443 - The Chainsmokers - #Selfie (2014) - I admit, I got caught up in the chorus of this song last year Especially helped along by the hilarious and dirty drag queen parodies Ohhh Mercy! "Wait, Jason just texted me. Should I go home with him?" Yes, Bimbo, you should.

1430 - Snow Patrol - Crack The Shutters (2008) - The chorus of this just has that 'kick' that makes up for the boring-sounding lyrics, but the use of instruments (including the triangle!) and the lyrics are actually really cool! This one was on the radio a lot back in '08. Love it.
1429 - Ou Est Le Swimming Pool - Dance The Way I Feel (2009) - Probably one of the weirdest names for a band ever, this was their catchy debut single. It wasn't a hit in their home country, but it reached #16 on our ARIA charts, and combined with a high radio rotation at the time, I sure heard it a fair bit. Catchy tune, which I could basically really relate to despite the simple lyrics.
1428 - The Ting Tings - Hands (2010) - Ahhh I loved this track!! "Clap your hands if you're workin' too hard!"
- There's a lot of Aussie rock bands that don't really appeal to me, but Gyroscope really stand out. Perth certainly had a lot of talent in with between these guys, Birds Of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe and The Cat Empire. I loved the sound of this one!
1426 - Ke$ha - Your Love Is My Drug (2010) - She only has two albums in five years, but with clever single releases, she only seems to need a few! This single's lyrics are actually quite cute and it's such happy music!
Coming up...
1425 - 2011 5th single from this Melbourne songstress. Ironically (given the single's title) she had a catapult fired at her from a resident of the street where she filmed the music video. 1424 - It's hard to refuse this English child-actor's debut #2 single, from 2012. 1423 - This Barbados girl's best friend 2012 single, which was written by Sia. 1422 - This Canadian rapping about working his way up from his Degrassi days. 1421 - You might have fun with this American Indie pop band's 2013 single, asking a question.

1425 - Zoe Badwi - Accidents Happen (2011) - The second most popular single from Zoe, despite not making the Top 50 on the ARIA singles chart. I enjoyed the sound of this one

1415 - John Mayer feat. Katy Perry - Who You Love (2013) - It wasn't a huge hit, but I thought this song was nice. Just absolutely nice. And these two sounded great together.
1414 - Duke Dumont feat. Jax Jones - I Got U (2014) - A catchy dance song from last year that I loved!
1413 - Alexander Rybek - Fairytale (2009) - Such musical talent! I was so glad that this song won the Eurovision Song Contest from that year. The use of violins and the catchy tune just made it sound awesome!
