Hey there everybody, First off I would just like to say thank you to everyone who has been visiting the site. We definitely appreciate it. ;D Well lots to cover this week. First off the big news, Kelly Walks Away from the #1 spot after two weeks. 8-)That means there is a new number one. You know a lot of people thought Mary J would take that top spot, but not this time. Instead its newcomer James Blunt who does it. This song is about seeing his ex on the subway, and finding out she has moved on with another man. It’s a very beautiful song. It should have enough staying power for at least a week or two more at number one.
On the rise is Rhianna who is up three to number four. She hasn’t had a number one yet, her biggest was “Pon De Replay” which spent five non consecutive weeks at number two, so is she destened for number one? We will have to wait and see. Cascada still hanging in there while Staind could see the top five soon. Plus there will be at least one new song in the top ten next week. It could be by a newcomer. ;D
Taking a look at the rest of the chart, we had three debuts, the highest by, Mariah called “Say Something.” It’s at number 37. The biggest mover for a second straight week is by, Bubba Sparxxx called “Ms. New Booty.” He climbs eight spots to number 22. Great job. This is cool too, Anna Nalick spent most of last year and part of this year on the countdown with “Breathe (2 AM.)” But the song is once again getting lots of radio airplay. So it’s once again moving back up the chart. Love ya Anna.
It’s time for our PT40 Hot Pick. This is where we pick a new song that we think will do well on the chart. This week this song is definitely a sure thing. The group Fort Minor you gotta hear the new song “Where’d You Go?” It’s already all over the radio. We predict not only will it be on the top 40, It could be the highest debut of 2006.
Well gotta go and work on the site, just added some new pages to our site so check it out. As always check back as we countdown the 40 biggest hits in the USA right here. Till next time have a good one. ;D
