Hello again! The time, once again, has arrived for me to show you my most recent updated chart. The link: www16.brinkster.com/xfer/chart.html3 songs leave the chart this week, they are: Devendra Banhart - Little boys (peak - #17) Ayumi Hamasaki - HEAVEN (peak - #1) Anzej Dezan - Plan B (peak - #17) With that info out of the way, let's comment a little about the debuts this week. At number 19, debuts one of my favorites singers, one third of the famous christian band DC Talk, he's kevin Max! The song? you might ask, it's called "The Imposter", the same title as the album. He's now in a different record label, but it seems they are screwing him once again in promotional terms... oh well. A little higher, at 18, this song that doesn't want to leave my head, it's that cute crazy chick Charlotte Church (even her name sounds wonderful!) with the amazing "Moodswings". I predict a good run for this song. And finally, coming at 16, the second single from Nickel Creek's "Why should the fire die?" album. This band that plays something lie bluegrass, or country or pop... you gotta listen to them one day, I recommend them. And a good sample could be "Jealous of the moon", which becomes the highest entry this week. Songs on the horizon: Andrew Bird - A nervous tic motion of the head to the left M.Ward - Fuel for fire Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood - Love will always win God Lives Underwater - Waste of time Iron & Wine and Calexico - 16, maybe less Johnny Hallyday - S'il n'est pas trop tard Ray Charles & Chris Isaak - You are my sunshine Regina Spektor - Chemo limo

The jpop is slowly fading away from your chart! I hope you will like Ai's new single, "Frienger", cause there are already too many charts that show no respect for Asian music I'll have to check out that Charlotte Church song, if you like it then surely I will too.

Come on Tori! You can get #1!!! ;D You now I love Tori, and this one is one of her best songs, but she will have a very hard time in my chart getting to number one. Hope is the last thing that's gone, but we will see Please make Aimee Mann move back up!!!! Nice debut for Charlotte Church. Aimee, yeah, as much as I lie it, I consider she's hopeless by now. She will continue in the chart, cause it's a wonderful song, but she's headed to the exit And yes, Charlotte is wonderful!

Here's the story: I had like 3 sources where I downloaded jpop from, and thought it was impossible for those 3 to shut down... but it happened!!!! I have been looking for another forum or place where I can find asian music, but I have had no luck I have even had horrible luc with the two Ayumi songs, and the new Ai song is news for me. But the love for jpop is still there. And yes, I think you will enjoy "Moodswings", it's really catchy. I sing along to it all the ime jajajaja

I hope to see Charlotte doing well there And Will, this is the first song from him I debut (Cause "Evergreen" was a cover by Westlife, and I decided to chart them instead of him) and I see it doing well in the future.

*sigh* I never ever hear of any of your music, and I know that if I downloaded all of them it would take me the whole day and I'm just not patient enough.
*thinks back to the time you had 'Hands In the Sky' by Straylight Run on your countdown* *exhales*

It is great to see Tori hanging on to the number two spot as well as Joanna Newsom remaining in the top five, Semisonic and Aimie Mann in the top ten and debuts by Nickel Creek and Charlotte Church.
It is also great to see Iron & Wine and Claxico as well as Reginia Spektor on the horizon. Iron & Wine and Claxico almost made my chart last fall with a song called "History of Lovers". If I had an mp3 of that song last fall, it would have made my chart.
"Chemo Limo" is from "Soviet Kitsch" and "Mary Ann Meets the Gravediggers and Other Short Stories". I ordered "Mary Ann Meets the Gravediggers and Other Short Stories" recently and I have been getting into her "Soviet Kitsch" and older material of late, so I may debut an older song of hers soon. It is great to hear that she will be releasing new material in the next couple of months and she will be touring this spring. ;D
