Hola, Amigos! This week Christian Castro (the artist formerly known as Cristian Castro) takes his Hot Latin Love to the top of the DJF40. This is the first non-English charttopper since Wilfred Le Bouthillier's "L'Important C'est d'Aimer" almost exactly one year ago. The last Spanish-language charttopper came in 2004 in the form of Alex Ubago's "Dame Tu Aire." There are 4 debuts this week, including an entry that will result in an amazing amount of hatemail and deaththreats. However, I felt like ... um ... breaking free (hint, hint) of the bonds of having to pretend to hate cheesy teen television movie soundtracks. Ooo! I also have a new entry from my dreamdate, TyHi. (Sorry, Dan, but you know he wants me. ) In order to see what damage to good taste my chart has inflicted on you this week, be bold enough to click beneath the soulDecision banner for my personal chart website. I have been supremely busy this past month, and I didn't even post my last two charts here on M4BCC. Alas, I probably won't post any more of my charts here again until April. I will continue to update my website weekly, however, so you can continue to stalk ... er ... check out my charts that way. Thank you as always (or, in honor of my new #1, I'll say GRACIAS) for stopping by!

What took you so long to come back David? I've had like 6-8 different #1's since you've been away.

Ooo! I also have a new entry from my dreamdate, TyHi. (Sorry, Dan, but you know he wants me. ) You're already happy, dammit! All this time, I've supported you, and your quest for happiness, and the one time I actually want to be loved, you take it away. DAMMIT! I'VE BEEN THERE FOR YOU!! LOVE ME!

Gee, Drew, I wonder who's responsible for pointing me in the direction of that one? Oh, that would be you. Then again, you probably already knew that and were just trying to get extra attention. So ... here goes: Thank you, gracias, merci, and for good meansure, obrigado (Portuguese).

Fantastic jump by Daniel Powter Great to see Lee Ryan debuting Hi there, Blue Buddy! Daniel's song has taken off in a big way ... not only for me, but also for the Hot 100! Lee's song has been floating around in my PC for a couple of months, and it finally grabbed onto me this past week. I don't know that the track will do as well as Simon Webbe's two singles, but we shall see!

LOVE ME! Oh, dear, somebody needs a huggy wuggy! Dere now, awl bedduh? (P.S. I still have Jason and TyHi. ) Dan O., you can still have Ryan C. if you're into sloppy seconds. You're day is coming, m8. I've seen your recent pics, and you are highly qualified.

No, not at all. There's really no notable songs I see this week that I haven't mentioned already

Go Freemasons!! (see my new chart later today ) Nice to see TyHi's cover was strong enough to make the cut Hi there, Bill! I just knew you wouldn't mind seeing either Freemasons or TyHi on my list! BTW, I've heard a new track from David Guetta feat. J.D. Davis. I have to say that I wasn't impressed upon first listen, but I'll give it another chance. Oh, speaking of Freemasons, have you heard their absolutely fab remix of Heather Headley's "In My Mind"? It topped the Billboard Club Play chart a couple weeks ago, and it is slammin'. I so prefer it to the original album version now! ;D

Hey David! Great chart, although I have to admit that I'm sad to see "Sorry" falling already. Great jump for "Bad Day". If you check out my chart, you'll see it performing impressively as well... Nice seeing "Stupid Girls" moving up. It's one of her better songs in a while. Lee Ryan makes an impressive debut! That song made my Top 20 a couple months back.
