Kt Tunstall just spent 12 weeks at #1 on MT40 with 'Black Horse And The Cherry Tree'. The third longest running #1 of the 2000s thus far. Last week she replaced herself on the top of the chart with 'Under The Weather', another rare feat in itself that hasn't been done since Avril Lavigne did it in 2004. And this week her latest latest single 'Suddenly I See' leaps 33-27 while she keeps two songs inside the Top 3. MT40 hasn't been dominated this much since Martina Sorbara managed to get three songs in the Top 10 for a single week back in late 2002. Having two songs in the Top 40 is quite common but three isn't as common as it used to be. Here's how the chart is shaping this week: #1 - Kt tunstall - Under The Weather (2 weeks) #2 - Green Day - Jesus Of suburbia (4 weeks) #3 - KT Tunstall - Black Horse (12 weeks @ #1) #4 - New Pornographers - Use It #5 - Anna Nalick - In The Rough (peak @ #2) #6 - Imogen Heap - Hide And Seek #7 - Tori Amos - Cars And Guitars (5 weeks @ #5) #8 - Tegan And Sara - My Number (8 weeks @ #2) #9 - Kathleen Edwards - Good Things #10 - Rob Thomas - Ever The Same Other action: Foo Fighters - Resolve (16-11) The Fray - Over My Head (30-22) Kt tunstall - Suddenly I See (33-27) Jem - Flying High (37-33) Eminem - Shake That (40-36) New: Melissa McClelland - White Lies
