Everyone was super cool and awesome enough to submit their votes before the deadline, sp without further ado… I have your week 4 results!
Before I start the results show, as many of you know, the hot topic on the boards this week has been the latest “Check it out” board. The launch of the new board has seen old users who haven’t logged into the board for awhile, well, checking it out. And now I have an EXCLUSIVE interview with previous Song Contest alumni. Ladies and gentlemen, previous Song Contest winners Dan O. M!, Lisa-Gail > Madonna, and Gerardo!
Lisa-Gail > Madonna: The Check It Out forum looks great, but it needs more music from the QUEEN, Lisa Gail-Allred! And of course the Killers.
Dan O: *stares at the audience* What the f*ck is wrong with you people? You were all as miserable as a f*cking sin ten minutes ago and now it's like all of you swallowed a f*cking care bear.
M!: That quote never gets old. And I am NOT the most serious member! I am M with an exclamation point dammit!
Gerardo: SMH!
Thanks guys, I think all of us currently on the boards all agree that we miss the four of you posting. And now before I get too sappy, I have your week 4 results!
The first two people I’d like to bring to the stage are Pipa and Julian.
Pipa, you submitted Song 3, “Enough Is Enough” by Toronto. Julian, you submitted Song 5, “Twenty-One” by the Cranberries. Both of you received the exact same number of points, and both of you received one first place ranking each (Julian’s first place vote coming from yours truly). Since both of your songs had the exact same result, and since I’d be Asshole Of The Year if I did a bottom four when there’s five people left, both of you are safe and I will start doing a bottom two instead of a bottom three a week early!
That just leaves myself, Unkie, and Feelin' X. One of us is safe with the top song this week, the others are in the bottom two. I submitted Song 2, “Supervixen” by Garbage. Unkie, you submitted Song 1, “Dead Boys” by Sam Fender. Feelin' X, you submitted Song 4, “Afraid Of The Dark” by Talk. The person who got first place this week – with three first place rankings – is… me. Unkie and Feelin' X, I’m sorry, but you are both in the bottom two this week.
I'd like all of you - including Unkie and Feelin' X - to please submit your week 5 competition song by Sunday, January 14th at 11:59PM EST, and I will also need new elimination songs from the people in the bottom two as well.
Here are this week's elimination songs. Please vote for your favorite by Sunday, January 14th at 11:59PM EST.
