CHART NOTES
It's exciting to hear about the release of the new Beatles song, "Now And Then." It's amazing that AI technology was able to be used to isolate John Lennon's voice from a demo recording made over 40 years ago, and that the other Beatles were able to add their parts to create a new recording.
The following mini-documentary accounts for the song’s making:
The Rolling Stones are still holding on to the #1 spot with "Angry" after 9 consecutive weeks. They're clearly still a force on the Current Top 20. Their tracks “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” (#5) and “Mess It Up” (#18) are moving up in the ranks.
U2's "Atomic City" is also doing well, climbing the charts for 6 weeks now stopping at #2 this week. Could “Atomic City” reach #1 next week? It will have to beat both The Rolling Stones and The Beatles for the coveted spot.
The Cat Empire's new song, "Boom Boom," debuts at #20. It's a great follow-up to their previous single, "Thunder Rumbles."
The Cat Empire's "Boom, Boom" debuts at #20.
