Glad to see CabreraDude at #1 - it's a good song, though it got 'dumped' by our local Top 40 station in its Pump Or Dump contest. OMG! Dumped? That's the first mistake I've heard Canada make in ages! Sigh... Gee, Bill, I'm disappointed that you're not feeling the Moustache track! I'm really surprised, given your affection for the Deep Dish treatment of "Dreams." Oh, well! Don't despair: I still think you have excellent taste. ;D Tonight we're gonna party like it's ... 1979! What a year! By now, you've already checked out the Babs tune, and I so totally agree with you that it's way, way over the top ... and it is splendid because of that! Do you need a link for the Donna Summer song? If you don't respond in a day or two, I'll go ahead and put a link in the Request Centre, but I'll notify you by PM that the link is there.

Well, I was surprised yet very happy to Wilfred move up six places! I though he wouldn't make the Top 30. Hi, Craig! You know, over the past week, I really started listening to Willie's lil' tune a lot more, and ... I guess that explains the nice 6-spot jump. He's not going to make top ten with this one, but he is going to do better than "La Ballade" did (#26 peak) a couple months back.

Hi David J! Sorry I haven't stopped by in a few weeks. I've been saving myself for you.
Kick-ass to see Cabrera, and all that damn hair of his, at #1. Have you the new album, yet? If so, what are your thoughts? If not, why not? You should pick it up, I think you should. It's no "Take It All Away," but it's decent, and a good 40-some-odd minutes of magical pop goodness.
Wow... Kelly's latest is doing decently, isn't it? I'm glad that you enjoy it... and I'm glad that girlfriend can, you know, still actually sing.
You have a bunch of great songs on your chart this week, like The Click Five, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, and the Black Eyed Peas.
And I swear to God, we WILL see a debut from Barbra Striesand within the next few weeks. And if you weren't, like, 60, I'd laugh and call you Adam. But because of your age, I guess it's okay. I mean, you did chart Donny Osmond earlier in the year. *drops head and sighs*

Ryan Cabrera at #1!!! Woohoo! Hopefully he stays there until Kelly Clarkson is ready to take over. Hi, Sean! Glad you're happy to see CabreraDude on top of me, I mean, on top of my chart. He is going to stay at the helm for at least another week, but then Simon Webbe will be taking over. We'll have to see if Kellster gets a shot at the top, or if Bitch Hotel ruin her chances.

Yeah, if it was a top 30 still, Wilfred would be just debuting! now, the next logical step, it to take "Le vieux loup de mer" to the top 20 Hola, Amigo! Damn, I've missed you! I've been waiting by my mailbox for AGES waiting on your postcards. I guess they must be lost in the mail. I'm glad you're back ... and I'm glad that you're pleased with Willie's move this week. You'll just have to stay glued to your monitor for the next few weeks to see how it all pans out. ;D

Hi David J! Sorry I haven't stopped by in a few weeks. I've been saving myself for you. *clears throat* Er, Dan ... while I surely do appreciate your getting all gussied up for me, I'm not the orange eye-shadow, yellow lipstick, tattered hose kinda guy. At least shave your legs next time, for God's sake. Oh, I do like me some of that CabreraDude ... pure wholesome goodness! You will be incredibly ashamed of me upon learning that I have yet to hear the new album. Alas, my financial situation precludes my being able to plunk down the bucks for RC's CD, but ... I shall console myself with "Shine On" until Santa gets off his duff (Hilary? Is that you? giggle) and brings me Ryan in my stocking. I mean ... Ryan's CD. Well, I'd prefer Ryan, but ... the CD will have to do, I suppose. That girl can blow. I wish she would quit with this SUBG and BTHE sort of songs. That's not where her heart is. I remember when she started out, she said Areatha was her main source of inspiration. Areatha wouldn't do a BTHE.... Thanks, Dan O! Glad you found so many entries to your liking this time around! OMG, no you did NOT just say that I'm "like 60." If I were closer to Kelowna, I'd put you over my knee and spank your hiney raw. Then again, you'd like that, so I'd be defeating the purpose of trying to teach you to respect your elders. Anyway, yes, you can stay tuned to see IF Babs debuts on my chart. I suppose there is an ever so slight possibility that she could come crashing in as early as next chart.

Thanks for the offer. I did get to hear the song this weekend. It's not an immediate grabber for me, though Donna sounds good. The last really strong track that worked for me by her was 1995's "Melody Of Love". And, yes, Barbra may end up on my chart in two weeks, it is a cranker!! And there's more - I do really like the Simon Webbe song, somehow the sped up vocal works in context with the rest of the song. It's a great leading-into-autumn tune! Have a great week.

So who else is charting Simon's "Lay Your Hands"? Okay so I haven't completely checked out every chart.

Ryan #1! ;D Pussycat Dolls drop! ;D But Darren is still climbing! ;D Ciara debuts Have a good week, Javid! Jess, it's no fair that your latest obsession is Justin, because when you combine Jess and Justin, you still get Jess or Justin. Sigh ... I guess I could manipulate it further to make Jestin or Juss, but ... those aren't any fun either. So ... clearly Dason and Javid are superior entries in the Name Game. I never said anything about "Justin" in my post... what are you talking about? Now ... where was all this going? To China? Anyway, thanks for stopping by my chart oasis. Oasis? *starts singing "The Importance Of Being Idle"* I'm surprised to see your approval of Ciara's song. Go figure! Have a great week! I like "And I". But although I don't like it enough to make my chart, I think those are the kind of songs Ciara should be singing, IMO.
