Greetings, Mere Mortals! 'Tis I, your host, welcoming you to yet another exciting installment of David J's Fantastic 40! This week CabreraDude makes his 4th chart entry his third number one on the DJF40! Ryan ended up with the #2 hit of all of 2004 with "On the Way Down." Earlier this year he topped my list with "True." After the #28 stumble that was "40 Kinds of Sadness," Ryan has returned with a vengeance. You go, Boy! Just how long CabreraDude will conquer the top is uncertain ... thanks to former Blue Boy Simon Webbe. Simon has moved 32-11-2 with "Lay Your Hands," so ... will Ryan shine on for one more frame before Simon lays his hands on #1? You'll just have to tune in next Thursday to see how the next installment of our show pans out! Be sure to click on the personal chart link conveniently located under my soulDecision boys. ;D Have a splendid week, Chartaholics!

Hola David! 3 weeks now! SHOCK! All right, that's it! Who are you, and what have you done with the REAL Adam? He might get in a second week on top, but I wouldn't count on a third week.... I'm glad you're diggin', Adam. You and Farmer Steve should get along great. You both live in Boston, and you both have a thing for farming! It's important to rotate your crops, however. That means you have to replace all your Phil Collins mp3s with Tyler Hilton, so as not to wear out the fertile soil of your PC. Well, since you insist: AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! (Great, now the neighbors are banging on the walls. Sigh ...) I'm actually starting to believe that you just might be here, Adam!

Some nice movement for 'Because Of You' within the top 10. I hope that has a shot at #1 It also seems like FOB are the "friction in your jeans", thats a hefty jump! haha Also nice for Green Day, Mariah Carey, and those lovely lady 'Humps'.

Wonderfull to see Kelly move her way into the top 10, she looks to do that on my next chart. Nice jump for Fall Out Boy. Hopefully they have a top 10 hit on their hands. Some nice movement for 'Because Of You' within the top 10. I hope that has a shot at #1 You never know... So far, the biggest hit that Kellster has had on my chart is the #3 "Miss Independent." LOL! Isn't that a superb line from the song? Thanks for stopping by, Roger!

David ;D. Haven't responded to your chart in a while, I have no excuse, you can hit me . *resists temptation to respond to offer to hit young Justin ... given young Justin's ... er ... youngness!* Justy Cool Dude! Thanks for gracing my thread with your presence this week. Glad you found some entries that tickled you senseless ... or something like that. ;D I would say that FOB definitely have a top ten hit on their hands! BTW, thanks for the warning ... about seeing me next week! *changes locks on doors, hires extra security guards*

Ryan #1! ;D Pussycat Dolls drop! ;D But Darren is still climbing! ;D Ciara debuts Have a good week, Javid! Jess, it's no fair that your latest obsession is Justin, because when you combine Jess and Justin, you still get Jess or Justin. Sigh ... I guess I could manipulate it further to make Jestin or Juss, but ... those aren't any fun either. So ... clearly Dason and Javid are superior entries in the Name Game. Now ... where was all this going? Anyway, thanks for stopping by my chart oasis. I'm surprised to see your approval of Ciara's song. Go figure! Have a great week!

Glad to see CabreraDude at #1 - it's a good song, though it got 'dumped' by our local Top 40 station in its Pump Or Dump contest. You're definitely enjoying the Fleetwood Mac-goes-dance revival with the Moustache and Deep Dish tracks. Alas the Deep Dish track has now peaked on my chart, and I think I was burned on "Everywhere", so the new version doesn't do a lot for me. However I want to check out the Donna Summer track (and the Barbra Streisand one too)... this coming from someone who made a tape a few years ago called "Party Like It's 1979"

Well, I was surprised yet very happy to Wilfred move up six places! I though he wouldn't make the Top 30.

Yeah, if it was a top 30 still, Wilfred would be just debuting! now, the next logical step, it to take "Le vieux loup de mer" to the top 20
