Commentary for 10/01/05:
This week on the QNX Weekly Hot 100 Singles Chart:
- With their first hit, the Pussycat Dolls have broken the record for the greatest song of the QNX era. Don't Cha is #1 on the chart for an unprecedented 16th week. They now hold the honor of having the Greatest Song Of All Time.
- Feel Good Inc. by Gorillaz featuring De La Soul holds #2 for a 12th week. Shake It Off by Mariah Carey is held at bay at #3 by the Pussycat Dolls and Gorillaz featuring De La Soul. In their second week on the chart, Gorillaz lurch forward 29-4 with DARE. Let Me Hold You by Bow Wow featuring Omarion continues to gain, advancing 7-5. In its 35th week, Lifehouse's You And Me has begun to descend, slipping 5-6 this week. Rihanna's summer anthem Pon de Replay falls 9-8, now that October is upon us. Ludacris has tanked 4-14 with Pimpin' All Over The World featuring Bobby Valentino.
- Three Top 40 debuts this week: If You Were Mine by Marcos Hernandez (increases 45-38), Ashlee Simpson's Boyfriend (increases 52-37) and Your Body by Pretty Ricky (increases 41-36).

HOLY CRAP at The Pussycat Dolls, of all acts, having the #1 song for 16 weeks! That's insane!
Great to see the Gorillaz holding on, and nice to see their new one making a BIG ASS jump! That's hot, man.
