Hey y'all!
It sure isn't often that I post my chart on the day that the chart starts on, but that goes to show you just how busy it's been around here lately! Or maybe I just don't love you anymore.
So, my folks are going away for a couple of weeks starting Sunday... 2 weeks home alone... PARTY AT MY PLACE! Nah, I'm just kidding, but it's gonna be nice none-the-less.
Enough about me... what you came here for is Dan's Top 20. After 2 weeks at #1, "Rebellion (Lies)" by the Arcade Fire slips to #5. Gosh, that kind of fall from #1 goes back a few years to the days of DT20 when ALL songs fell that much. But hey, it means that somebody new is at #1, and that's always fun.
Tyler Hilton and Ludacris are off the chart this week, leaving room for two new entries. The first of which comes to us from Mariah Carey. Yes, that's right... after missing the chart completely with, well, pretty much everything since "Heartbreaker," "Shake It Off" marks the first time a track from 'The Emancipation Of Mimi' charts. Take THAT, "We Belong Together"! This week's second debut comes from Pretty Ricky. Their new track, "Your Body" is HOT, and is this week's highest debut.
Why don'tcha just check out the rest of the chart while you're here?
