Girl power!! Just take a look at the chart located here: www16.brinkster.com/xfer/chart.html4 songs leave the chart: Idlewild - El Capitan (peak - #3) Omar Naber!! - Omar ti teslo (peak - #15) Wilfred Le Bouthillier - Le vieux loup de mer (peak - #17) Patrick Wolf - Wind in the wires (peak - #4) As you can see, the increase of female voices in my chart is getting higher by the week. However, they still don't domiante all the chart, and an example is the debut at number 20 of the spanish group El Canto Del Loco, with their song "Ya nada volverá a ser como antes", it certainly took many weeks for it to debut, but I just can't get the song out of my head. Then, the females begin their parade, at number 18, we have the debut of Utada Hikaru with the awesome song "The Workout" it has lots of percussion and it's simply amazing, this should be released as a single, but given the fact that she's on the japanese field again, I see it hard to happen. Then, one of the most brilliant singers of today: Ai Otsuka, lands at number 14 with her current single called "Planetarium". I had a hellish time downloading the video, but it was worth it! I am predicting a new album before the year ends And the highest debut this week belongs to another brilliant japanese singer, Ayumi Hamasaki, who manages to debut at number one!! Her song "HEAVEN" is included in some soundtrack, so I HOPE it is also on her next album, this song has caused the same impression on me than "CAROLS" which debuted at number one also last year. Songs on the horizon: Regina Spektor - The flowers Björk - Bath Robbie Williams - Trippin' Roisin Murphy - Ramalama Andrew Spice - Matthew Ai Otsuka - Drop Have a good weekend!

Robbie Williams - Trippin' Is that the new single?? Have you got a link to the song? Well, nice to see "Ya nada volverá a ser como antes" debuting in your chart. It's not their best song, but one very very good. I'll send you soon "Puede ser" which is hundred times better. Nice Chart

lmao @ plannine!! Ya gotta smile...... -------------------------------------------------------------------- The latest trend round these parts is: MOMS WHO ROCK!!! We have (localy) The Candy Band: [www.candyband.com/] and The Mydols: [www.mydols.com] The candyband sound: nursery rhymes meet the ramones The mydols sound: Angry Moms meet blondie/b-52's They Play, They Sing, but they don't do choreographed dancing!!!!! another local musician (which i will be charting this week) is Sara Celina. [http://www.myspace.com/saracelinamusic] She follows a long line of rocking folkies that i've enjoyed listening to over the last few years (Jill Jack, Liz Larin, Jan Krist)

Your chart is getting better every week!! ;D Not only did Ayumi's amazing new single debut at #1, but two other great songs by her move up, and Ai Otsuka and Utada debut!! It's too bad "Neko Ni Fuusen" missed out on #1, but I guess it's hard to compete with a song that's so beautiful, musically, lyrically and vocally.

Thanks for the comments Kworb! Yes, I also feel bad for "Neko ni fuusen" not reaching the top, cause now that "HEAVEN" is there, it seems Ai only can go one way. Maybe in a few weeks, the thrill of the new Ayumi song will have passed, and maybe Ai still has staying power to grab number one. We'll see. For now, Ayumi is the queen of jpop

thanks for heaven, xfer. it's a musicvideo rip, isn't it? but anyway.. great song and number one in your chart. wow do you know the ayumi song "dearest"? there is a very very VERY VEEERRRY good classical version (without ayumis voice, only instrumental) of it. maybe it's the best song all the time, you definetly need to have it

Good to see that one of Wilfred's songs is still moving up, albeit rather slowly When is the new Omar song going to break your chart?? He's moving up quickly on mine. Robbie just entered my chart this week, so I hope he makes yours soon.

thanks for heaven, xfer. it's a musicvideo rip, isn't it? but anyway.. great song and number one in your chart. wow Any problem with a video rip? LOL nah, really, it's true. That's the only version I have found, I suppose the studio version won't have the sound of the train in the background during the second chorus. do you know the ayumi song "dearest"? there is a very very VERY VEEERRRY good classical version (without ayumis voice, only instrumental) of it. maybe it's the best song all the time, you definetly need to have it Oh yeah, "Dearest" is a beautiful song, but I haven't heard this instrumental you're talking about

Good to see that one of Wilfred's songs is still moving up, albeit rather slowly Yes, I know he's moving slowly, but he will be top 10 next week I am almost sure. I don't know if you remember I told you once that "Cruel mais réel" was my favorite song by Wilfred, and I still feel that way, so I have confidence in the song to reach a more decent peak. When is the new Omar song going to break your chart?? He's moving up quickly on mine. Robbie just entered my chart this week, so I hope he makes yours soon. Omar. I still have the hope that his song "Omar ti teslo" re-enters next week, so "Ves tvoj svet" will have to wait a little bit longer. I heard that "ves tvoj svet" is Omar's favorite song And the Robbie song is awesome! I can see him reaching a good position. I predict a debut in the coming weeks, the competition of songs to debut is not too strong right now. Thanks for replying!
