#2 Billboard, #1 R&R in 1984. From the movie of the same name.
This has always been one of his undeniable classics and its appeal to me stays strong to this day.

So around maybe like 2014 or 2015 I started reassessing my Prince and George Michael jokes from when I was younger and first started getting into 80's music and although it was all in good fun and was not meant to be malicious at all, I do think 13-year-old me was just a little too harsh on them. I still HATE certain songs like "P. Control" and "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go", but in retrospect - especially compared to a lot of the shit that's coming out now - they really weren't that bad, and whether you like them or not, they both DID have undeniable talent.
With all that being said, I actually like this now and can definitely see why it's considered iconic.
