Which of these hit songs from the 90's do you prefer? Donna Lewis' I Love You Always Forever or Wilson Phillips' Hold On?
I Love You Always Forever hit #2 on the Hot 100, #1 on Adult Contemporary charts, #1 on CHR/Pop, #5 in the UK, and it even reached #2 on CHR/Rhythmic.
Hold On was the top song of 1990, despite only spending one week at #1 on the Hot 100. It also hit #1 on the Adult Contemporary charts.
Hold On also has the edge in streaming with 67 million plays on YouTube, while I Love You Always Forever has 24.6 million plays.

Tough one, but going with Wilson Phillips here. Love both though.

The Donna Lewis song was a huge favorite of mine as a kid. I still like it now but not as much as I did before, while Hold On still sounds fresh. Wilson Phillips get my vote here.
