I tend to give a few spins to some tracks from their debut album. These songs are: Quasimodo, Sick Cycle Carousel, Unknown, Cling And Clatter and Breathing. Every time I listen to these, I am flooded with energy, I love to sing along and these songs have not lost anything through the years. They're emotional, powerful, and music at its best.
That said, I have listened to their albums since then, and there are only few songs that reach that level of amazingness. The ones that come to mind are only Wash and Blind. Other than that, they lost the spark. Anyone feels the same as this? They reached a new low when they sang with Natasha Bedingfield... whatever! Would you say I need to give more listens to a particular album that I might have missed? I want to love them again <3

I haven't heard their most recent stuff but there's been stuff since the first album I loved. I do still love Hanging By A Moment and Sick Cycle Carousel, and since then I've also really liked Halfway Gone, Falling In and All In. And especially You And Me, which is very close to their best for me. Take that with a grain of salt though, because I also liked their song with Natasha Bedingfield.

And yeah, I took it with a grain of salt, as I also don't like You And Me I guess I will have to listen to his other albums again, in the hopes more gems are hidden in their discography Thanks for the comment... I liked and charted Hurricane, but I doubt that's your style. I don't know if you remember Broken, but that's one of their best singles IMO.

I've continued to like them ever since, they can usually get a top 10 hit or two per album on my chart.
Who knows if they can keep up that quality in the future? It's hard to tell.
Album-wise, my favourites overall are "No Name Face" and "Smoke & Mirrors", the latter gave them their only two #1's on my chart, though they did have two previous huge #2 hits.

The success of "You And Me" got to them and most of their stuff after that were generic ass rehashes of that. I actually really liked that song when it was out and it got to #3 on my chart, but thanks to overplay I cannot stand it now and deleted it from my library years ago.
The last song of theirs I really liked was "Blind". I miss their rockier stuff like "Hanging By A Moment", which is still an all time favorite.

I remember loving Hanging By A Moment when it was new, before it became a huge radio smash, and I generally thought of Lifehouse as a more enjoyable alternative to the dullness that was Vertical Horizon but outside of Hanging, I never really got too much into their other singles other than charting a few as minor hits. I didn't even know they had a song with Natasha I don't think.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I am ready to love them again, wish me luck! A curious thing was, that while I listened No Name Face, I was like "It seems Hanging By a Moment" hasn't been played in shuffle", so I played it myself and... I realized I never gave it the time in the sun, and it's now an unknown song to me lol. I guessed I supported Sick Cycle Carousel so much, to the point I forgot how Hanging By a Moment sounded like
