Well done again guys! Almost a clean sweep, just the incorrect song on one 1350 - Metallica feat. Marianne Faithfull - The Memory Remains (1997) - How they managed to sing this whilst swinging back and forth on that pendulum thing, I don't know Anyway, this song makes my countdown because it was that heavy, heavy catchy rock that just got to my head. I always say '97 was the best year for music (in so many ways), and this is Metallica's highest ranked song for me.

1345 - Lazyboy - Underwear Goes Inside The Pants (2004) - Remember Aqua? Well this project was started by one of it's members! So so different, and for this to come out of Denmark?? It sounds like something Dennis Leary would have come up with. This 'song' didn't really go anywhere in most of the world, but it went TOP 5 here I liked it because it was true.
1344 - Hilary Duff - Chasing The Sun (2014) - This was a cute little Summer-y feel comeback track from her!
- What a voice this chick had! I'm really hoping she's still making music, because, man I loved this!
- Boppy-pop returns! Was anyone a fan of The Click Five? I loved this one three years ago
1341 - Havana Brown - Warrior (2013) - I can't go past some Havana Brown! Having seen her live and seeing how humble of a performer she is, I really respect that, and I loved this catchy track!
Coming up...
1340 - A British three-piece debuted at Number 1 on the UK charts in 2012 with this brassy earworm. 1339 - A 2005 pop-punk single from this Canadian boy-band, which could be written about their music critics. 1338 - A 2002 single about the female-figure, from this American singer-songwriter, rumoured to be written about a famous actress he once dated. 1337 - It might be time to listen to the third single from the debut album from this Florida rock band. 1336 - You might hide from this British electronica group's 2000 single.

1340 - Sam And The Womp - Bom Bom (2012) - Ohhhh this was so catchy! Trumpets, trombones, everything percussion and brass! The lyrics make no sense, but they don't have to
- I looooooved this track back in '06. Lyrically and catchy, it charted for me for almost an entire year!
1338 - John Mayer - Your Body Is A Wonderland (2002) - This was a gorgeous track from John Mayer, and the first I fell in love with. Easy listening to the max.
1337 - Matchbox 20 - 3AM (1997) - Matchbox 20's debut album was just iconic for me. My little brother owned it and I'm so glad he did, because I got to hear this song a lot growing up.
1336 - Kosheen - Hide U (2000) - Dance/electronica had really progressed by the time The Naughties arrived. So catchy.
Coming up...
1335 - This hot temperature boyband only need you for one night. 1334 - The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air singing about his favourite U.S. City. 1333 - British/Irish boyband claiming ownership of the darkness back in 2013. 1332 - The second 2001 single from this alternative Brisbane band trio (of whom Sam I Am is a huge fan of!) 1331 - A 2014 parody of a Robin Thicke hit, about the frustration and mis-use of the English language/grammar.

Great to see Simple Plan and Matchbox 20 there However, I can't say the same about "Bom Bom" as that is "No. Just no." for me. 1335. 98 Degrees - Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche) 1334. Will Smith - Miami 1333. The Wanted - We Own The Night 1332. something from Regurgitator? 1331. Weird Al Yankovic - Word Crimes

Everyone always loves 3 AM, but I always thought Push was and is the better song on that album (shame the cover picture is nasty lol)
And 98 Degrees <3
1327 - Not Gonna Get Us by Tatu?

I always preferred Push but it and 3AM are both awesome.
1330. Taio Cruz - Dynamite

1330 - Taio Cruz - Dynamite (2010) - This song was HUGE here! What a great, catchy track!
1329 - Dannii Minogue vs Flower Power - You Won't Forget About Me (2004) - In the mid-Naughties Dannii Minogue had a string of hits that I just loved. This was one of them!
1328 - P.O.D. - Boom (2002) - In the late 90's to early-Naughties, I went through a phase where I was constantly listening to gospel music and Christian music radio stations. Combine that with a select group of like-minded friends at the time, and I got introduced to this band! I'm not sure if I'd chart it these days, but I certainly did back then.
1327 - t.a.T.u. - Not Gonna Get Us (2002) - Oh the irony of these girls! Using the whole fake-lesbian thing to get sales with the previous single, and yet these days Russie is completely anti-gay! Anyhow, enough about the politics and the irony, I quite enjoyed this one 13 years ago
1326 - Alexia - Uh La La La (1997) - This one got completely stuck in my head in the 90's! The funny thing I found about it is that no-one knows who the featured guy in the song is. How rude is that!
Coming up...
1325 - A British duo's 1996 single about ruling the world, from an album of the same title. 1324 - A very non-sober 2014 Dutch electronica track featuring vocals from a New York singer/songwriter. 1323 - A Kiwi (New Zealand) musician wanted to catch a happy/sad 80's vibe in this hit from 2008. 1322 - If you followed my chart in 2013 you may have seen this Filipino singer singing about appreciating guy's butt's at the top of my chart 1321 - A 2006 Top 30 hit about a guy trying to get with this American recording artist. This was her second single.

1324. Tiesto f/Matthew Koma - Wasted?

1325 - Alisha's Attic - Alisha Rules The World (1996) - I feel like it's a good thing that I started charting music in '96, because it also appeared to be a turning point for music, at least in my opinion. I remember hearing this duo pop up on 'Rage' with a couple of their singles, and this one I absolutely loved. It brings back good memories and it even had a revival a few years later when my brother got married to a lady named "Aleisha"
1324 - Tiesto feat. Matthew Koma - Wasted (2014) - As much as I don't condone getting absolutely sloshed it was the LYRICS that made this song for me! OMG so, SO true. I have had some incredible revelations with people in my life whilst maybe a little bit tipsy out at a party or sometimes at a club. Oh and it was pretty catchy also
1323 - Ladyhawke - My Delerium (2008) - Damn, this was a catchy one from this lady across the Tasman ditch! So much happening in the band sounds and that chorus I can always sing along to.

4.5 out of 5 again Just the wrong song on one. 1320 - Keith Urban - Making Memories Of Us (2005) - You know a song is good when it's been recorded by three different artists. This was the only one I knew of however, and I thought it was absolutely beautiful. I still do.
1319 - Alex Gaudino feat. Crystal Waters - Destination Calabria (2007) - One of the biggest clubbing tracks on the mid-Naughties for me, I can't even count how many times I danced in nightclubs to this one! So catchy.
1318 - Delta Goodrem - Out Of The Blue (2004) - I can hardly go past a ballad from Delta! This was a very soft touch from her, and it's the perfect long-song.
- Now this was a very different sound at the time. In the early-Naughties, electronic Aussie artists were a rarity to do well on the charts, but this band did it, and it was different to their previous single, which was also a hit here. I liked the different sounds going on in this!
1316 - Chris Wallace - Push Rewind (Remember When) (2012) - Where did this song come from!? And who was Chris Wallace? This was a find from numerous other members charts and next thing I knew it was flying up the Globalchart, probably helped also later on by how much I LOVED it. Man, what a track!!
Coming up...
1315 - You might've had sexy-time on the sand in 1997 with this kitchen utensil Euro-dance group. 1314 - A Top 40 dance track from this Aussie artist who once represented the UK in Eurovision. This was her second '96 single. 1313 - The lead track from this American hip-hop artist's 2003 album, about sharing a 'cigar'.
1312 - A 2010 dance-pop diva's single which features an R&B diva. It was originally written by the artist for Britney Spears, but she rejected it. 1311 - A French DJ teams up with a Canadian synth-pop band for this 2011 track about an Asian country.
