There are three new entries this week, all from established acts. Darius, the thrid place contestant from series one of the UK Pop Idol, enthers at #46 with his latest, "Kinda Love". This is Darius's 4th trip into the Top 50. His highest position to date has been the #6 song "Rushes".
Rachel Stevens enters at #38 with her third chart single, "More More More". She's looking to earn her thrid Top 10 single.
The highest new entry of the week is at #32. Robbie Williams enters with his first single from his greatest hits collection, "Radio". This is Robbie's 8th chart single. If he does not take this one to the top, he will hold the record for the artist with the most hit singles without going to #1. Here is Robbie's chart performance so far:
- "Millenium" #10
- "Angels" #3
- "Feel" #3
- "Love Somebody" #12
- "Come Undone" #16
- "Something Beautiful" #10
- "Sexed Up" #5
- "Radio" #32 and climbing
The biggest mover of the week goes to the person with the most songs on the chart this week with three. Alanis Morissette takes "Eight Easy Steps" up an easy 16 places to land at #31 in her second chart week.
Within the Top 10 this week, two new songs break in, knocking out last week's new songs. Zeljko Joksimovic takes his Eurovision entry up two to land at #10 and Heart take their come-back single up to #9. Natasha Bedingfield appears to be repeating the performance of "Single" which spent three weeks at #6. "These Words" holds onto #6 for a second week, held down by a strong Top 5. Garou & the Villeneuves and the A*Teens swap positions, but the rest stays the same. Wilfred stays on top for a fourth non-consecutive week. Can he hold onto a fifth with stiff competition right below him?
