This thread doesn't refer to current songs that get played every 30 minutes on your favorite local radio station or even songs that you personally go out of your way to listen to over and over again on your mp3 player. This thread refers to songs that, no matter where you go or what you do, you seem to end up hearing a lot. It doesn't necessarily have to be a song you dislike either. My example of this is the song "Touch It" by Monifah. It was a hit back in 1998, peaking at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100. For the past week and a half, I've heard it on the radio - no exaggeration - about 5 or 6 times...which is kind of a lot for a song that's nearly 15 years old. AND considering that I only listen to the radio anymore when I'm in the car, it really DOES seem like a lot. There are other songs that have been like this for me in the past. I can't remember any of them off the top of my head, but I thought this would be an interesting topic anyway.
