Four songs make their first appearance on my chart this week. The first enters at #49. Norah Jones enters with "Sunrise", her second chart single. Her only other chart success was the #27 "Don't Know Why". Following up what is now her greates success on my chart with the #7 "Life For Rent", Dido enters at #47 with her latest single "Don't Leave Home". The final two new songs are from the same single. Clay Aiken enters at #46 with "The Way" and at #42 with "Solitaire". This marks Clay's first appearance as a solo artist on my chart. He has previously charted with the American Idol crew singing "God Bless The USA".
Two songs make massive moves on the chart this week. Atomic Kitten leaps up 16 places to land at #18 in only their second week with "Someone Like Me". This will easily become their 6th and final top 10 single. Besting them by one place, Blue leaps 17 places to #29 with their recent UK top 10, "Breathe Easy".
Two new songs crack into the Top 10, both by artists new to the Top 10. Sam & Mark slide up 2 to land at #10 with "With A Little Help From My Friends", while Kimberley Locke advances three places to #8 with "8th World Wonder". Both acts owe their succes to Pop/American Idol.
Enrique Iglesias moves up one place to #3 with "Not In Love", giving him his highest chart position ever.
Boogie Pimps hold on to the top for a second week. Their next single, "Sunny" is waiting in the wings and could easily debut well next week...
