Chart Comments:
It took 17 weeks for Lostprophets to get to #1, and they aren't letting go, with or without a bullet. The song's starting to grow a little old, so this might be its last week. Meanwhile Blink-182 has lined itself up at #2 with "I Miss You." ((Yeah) x3)+s are the greatest gainers within the top ten, up four spots to #6 this week. Meanwhile a contingent of new songs have lined themselves up beyond the walls of the top ten. Yellowcard and 3 Doors Down reside at #11 and #12, meanwhile OutKast, LP, and Alicia Keys all hold hot top twenty property.
Patty Loveless enters the top twenty this week, with a five spot jump to #19. Jay-Z just might have his biggest hit since "Girls x3" with "Dirt Off Ya Shoulder." Within just four weeks, it's risen to #21, and I like the song enough, it just might be his first top ten since "'03 B&C." Hoobastank and Seether share greatest gainer this week, rising ten spots to #23 and #27 respectfully.
Meanwhile, "Breaking the Habit" is slow to take off, rising just two spots to #38. Three new songs grace the top 40 for the first time this week. Kimberley Locke (finally) debuts with "8WW" at #37. Meanwhile the new songs from Incubus and Offspring debut at #39 and #40.
