@xfer: At the moment I've not the feeling that Satin Circus is blocking this Emma girl. Since I first listend to her album "Saró libera" I like her songs. "L'amore non mi basta" is no exception. So the chance is very high that this song will take over the chart this week and I think this song will stay for a longer time at this position. Yes, "Water" is doing better. I recognized that I'm listening to this song very often so it can climb up in the next weeks too.
Tim Bendzko had released two singles from his album "Am seidenen Faden". The first one has been the title track "Am seidenen Faden" and the second "Programmiert". But I'm not a big fan of his music. His debut single "Nur noch kurz die Welt retten" was in my oppinion very disappoiting and annyoing. "Unter die Haut" on the other side is a very good song. Maybe the part by Cassandra Steen makes this song special for me.
With her "Red" album Taylor Swift reached new parts on my chart. This album is good and has some excellent tracks like "We are never ever getting back together" or "I knew you were trouble". Unfortunately I don't get this feeling for "Sweeter than fiction". Possibly this song will climb up a few spots, but there is no chance for another Top 10 hit for her with this particular song.

Week 146 – December 14th, 2013Finnish band Satin Circus finished with the top spot after only one week. So “If you love me” (#1) didn’t reach spheres which the bands top hit “Emma” (#59) reached. New at the top is a well-known artist from Italy. Emma scored her 4th #1 hit on my chart. With “L’amore non mi basta” she could outperform every of her other three #1 hits. This should bring her up to four weeks at the top at least. The Top 3 is completed with the former #1 “Love like stars” by Ben Montague. The only new track within the Top 5 is “Let me go” (#5) by Avril Lavigne & Chad Kroeger. Last week’s highest new entry “Hard out here” (#6) by Lily Allen climbed up two spots. Looking for the highest new entry this week means that you’ve to look down the chart because this week there are no high debuts.
Outside the Top 10 Tal feat. Flo Rida are trying to reach this part with “Danse” (#11) for the first time, but they are in their 14th week on the chart so it is hard to predict if they reach it. Better are the chances for Lady Gaga feat. R. Kelly. Their collaboration “Do what U want” (#12) climbed up three spots and should do the last step next week. Or is it “The monster” (#16)? Eminem’s 1st chart appearance could bring Rihanna for the first time into the Top 10. Rihanna hasn’t had a Top 10 hit? You’re right this is nearly unbelievable, but since I started my chart again she hadn’t such a big hit than before. This is her chance to prove.
Two songs are giving their debut in the Top 20. First to mention is Jason Clarke. With his catchy tune “Smoke & mirrors” (#19) he is giving his first smoke signals in this part of my chart. The other song is “Unconditionally” (#20). Katy Perry has a tough act to follow since re-starting. Only one Top 10 hit since 2011 is not good enough for her. Even her latest smash hit “Roar” failed to impact and left my chart after some weeks in the midfield. “Unconditionally” is the single which could change everything for her. The Top 10 isn’t far away. We will see how far this song will go and how “Walking on air” (#21) will handle the drop of one spot.
About “Wrecking ball” (#45) nearly everything is written. After several weeks of ignoring this song airplay on the Austrian radio stations helped to get it on my chart. Since this time this song is gaining more and more personal airplay too. This week Miley Cyrus biggest hit up-to-date climbed up 25 spots and is the greatest gainer of the week. If you know me most of the time after I’m writing about the greatest gainer this song is followed by the highest debut. This week is no difference. The highest new entry comes from Jessie J. With “It’s my party” (#7) she has an actual Top 10 hit. The next single from her “Alive”-album is debuting this week. “Thunder” (#60) isn’t a fun song like “It’s my party”, but I always like if songs have darker lyrics. This one is no exception. Hopefully this song is doing well in the next weeks.
Within the other new entries there are some interesting ones beside Taylor Swift’s single “The last time” (#69) and the album cut “All too well” (#70). Let’s start with German rock heroes Scorpions. Strictly speaking this band shouldn’t exist at the moment. Back in 2010 they said they would disband after a world tourney. In the meantime they changed their opinion and they aren’t splitting up. Some weeks ago the released their latest album “MTV unplugged” and the first single out of this album is “Dancing with the moonlight” (#80).
Another interesting debut comes from Britney Spears. She hadn’t any big hit on my chart in the last two and half years. “Perfume” (#91) should change this. Sure this song is debuting very low, but the refrain is very recognizable. This is the reason why this song should sprint up the chart next week. Then there is a cover song. Unknown artist Rhiannon Mair released her debut album in April this year. The Depeche Mode cover of “Strangelove” (#92) was released as a free download via facebook and gives its chart debut this week.
Other debuts are “Let it go” (#83) by Demi Lovato, “Under control” (#88) by Calvin Harris & Alesso feat. Nice to see someone who has a similar approach to music and... posting flags  Emma? Ekhm... Actually, I'm not into Italian music at the moment. The only one Italian hit this year for me was "Crisalide"... But it was from San Marino, so it doesn't count (btw. - microscopic San Marino beating the Giant Italy - the world went upside down...). Lily Allen - I'm more into her cover, but I don't say no to this song. Hooverphonic - I think I've preffered the tracks from their last album. "Number nine" - on my chart it was only once and only on #72, but last year there were times with 4 T-Ara's songs in top 50, so... Miley - quite late. To be honest, if not this video I could even like it... Alex Hepburn - this song is not my favourite, but "Under" was twice at #1, if I'm not mistaken. "Loving You" - to be honest, it peaked higher on your chart. On mine it has kinda bad luck, even if I really adore this song. Good 90s style hasn't died! Aurea - I know her... and that's it  Beatrice Egli - "Verrückt nach dir" debuts on my playlist and.. I've even thought abut RE of "Mein Herz"  TQ & ItaLove - only #78, but still, you know about it! I guess you have things in hand and you've heard about the new video with Ken Laszlo? Some unknown names for me too, so It's time to work it out |

I looked over your chart where I found several songs I would haven't noticed. Until now Italy is beating San Marino on my chart, because I've not charted any song from San Marino up-to-date. I think Lily Allen's song is clever. It's all about the video, but we shouldn't forget the lyrics which are really good and the best is the catchy refrain. With Hooverphonic it is different on my chart. I didn't chart any song of their last album. I really like some of the K-Pop songs. Speacially if they are dance. This is T-aras debut on my chart. Nice to hear that you charted "Mein Herz" which peaked at #87 which is mainly because I don't like the genre. I've not heard about the new song by Italove feat. Ken Laszlo. I gave it a listen, but I don't think that this song will reach my Top 100. |

Oh!!! Ben Montague!!! I had watched the video and listened to the song Love Like Stars, and I think he is awesome and I might chart that song. But I had negelected Another Hard Fall, which is exquisite as well ajajajajjaa!! I can't find his album, but I will be on the lookout, these two songs are gold <3
And ajajajja Matt Cardle continues his movements upwards <3 I am sad that Satin Circus left the number one after only one week, but I think it's fine, you seem to love Emma lol

I charted only her debut single "Due respiri" which peaked at #5 back in February. Also Fedez where not on my chart, but there were several other songs from Italy on my chart this year like Baby K. feat. Tiziano Ferro with "Killer" (#35) or Simonetta Spiri feat. Madback with "Altrove" (#85). Emma outshines every other Italien artist this year which she also did last year. Oh!!! Ben Montague!!! I knew that is only a matter of time when you start to like Ben Montague. This 2nd album "Tales of flying and falling" is excellent. I like his debut album "Overcome" too, but this one is better. And there are more songs on it which I hope will reach my Top 10 in the future. I bought the album via itunes, but it is also available on wowhd. You definitely should check it out. Yes, Matt is doing well. Even "Water" should do the next step and reach the Top 50. Sure it is sad that Satin Circus left the top spot after only one week, but for me it was clear that "L'amore non mi basta" will take over very fast. I absolutely love both songs, but in the end I will go with Emma. |

Ahhhhhhhh!!! It didn't even cross my mind to check Wowhd for the Ben Montague album!! I mean, I never buy a single album or a single dvd or a single book. I save and then buy a lot (relatively, which is like 5 or 6 items) of items together, and I already did that, like 2 hours ago!!!! ARGH! Will keep him in mind for next purchase, thanks for the heads up, I want that album <3 And yes, he's amazing!! <3 Awesome! Water might have been the first song that connected with me from the album. I remember listening to the sampler and thinking "Why?? only one good song will be on the album!" that song was Water <3 I learned to love all the songs after that. Well, as long as Satin Circus doesn't drop like from 3 to 17 and then to 52 or something, all's fine |

Well, this year Emma IMO doesn't shine, but last year "Cercavo amore" was #15 in my year-end chart... Although my friend said that it's a plagiarism of Vanilla Ninja's "Cool Vibes" This song was #25 in my year-end chart 2012 and only her 4th best song in this countdown. "Tra passione e lacrime" ((#10), "Non e' l'inferno" (#12) and "Senza averti mai" (#18) did better. I didn't thought about a plagiarism of Vanilla Ninja. Maybe I should compare these songs. |

Week 147 – December 21st, 2013This year’s Christmas edition is won by Italian singer Emma. Last week she grabbed #1 with “L’amore non mi basta” and this week she didn’t let the position out. So Finnish act Satin Circus is only in the runner’s up position with their beautiful song “If you love me”. This week the whole Top 4 didn’t change so Satin Circus is followed by Ben Montague’s “Love like stars” and Emma’s “Dimentico tutto”. In the meanwhile Lily Allen continued her trend moving up the chart with “Hard out here” (#5). This week only one song entered the Top 10. “Do what U want” (#8) by Lady Gaga feat. R. Kelly replaced Jessie J with “It’s my party”. For both this is their first Top 10 hit.
In the next part of my chart some songs are continuing their strong performance. “The monster” (#13) by Eminem feat. Rihanna, “Unconditionally” (#14) by Katy Perry or “Last bus out” by Jillette Johnson are a few of these songs which have a good chance to reach the Top 10 in the next week. A debut can’t be found in this section, but there are some notable gainers this week. Three of these big movers debuted last week. Let’s start with US-star Britney Spears. I had a lot of problems with her singles over the last years, but with her latest single “Perfume” (#48) she is going to change this. In my first chart area she had several Top 10 hits, but until 2011 she only had two charting hits. “Perfume” climbed up 43 spots and is the greatest gainer of the week.
Not far behind is the Duran Duran cover by unknown British singer Rhiannon Mair. “Strangelove” (#55) climbed up 37 spots and missed the Top 50 by only a handful spots. This cover is one of the covers which should gain major attention in my opinion. By next week Rhiannon Mair should reach the Top 50 at least. And there is a third song which climbed up more than 30 spots this week. “Human” (#53), the latest single by Christina Perri, also climbed up 37 spots like “Strangelove”. “Human” could be Christina Perri’s biggest hit if she outperforms “Jar of hearts” (peak #7) which reached Top 10 back in 2012.
The highest new entry comes from a Chinese-Korean girl group. miss A had released several singles since 2010 which all reached Top 10 in South Korea. “Hush” (#68) is their first single reaching my chart. And there is a chance that this song is joining the group of K-Pop songs in my Top 40. The next best debut comes from Colbie Caillat. Beside her debut album “Coco” she hadn’t performed very well for me. Her biggest hit up-to-date since my re-start had been “Brighter than the sun” (peaked #49). This week she debuts with “Hold on” (#74) which should easily reach the Top 50 and then we will see what the future brings for her.
