So I really love Glee, like REALLY LOVE GLEE, and lately I've been considering charting some of the awesome covers they do. I'm a bit hesitant since there are a lot of good ones, but they are all covers so that kinda throws a flag up.
What do you think?

I voted no. Technically there's no reason why you shouldn't, I do consider them singles, as they're available for purchase. However, your chart could become overloaded with Glee which wouldn't be all that interesting. There are so many of their songs. I suppose it would depend on how many you wanted to chart.

I would limit it, probably no more than 3 at one time and what not, plus I wouldn't chart ALL of them

Sure, Josh. I'd focus on a couple of the best tracks but that's it.

Agreed pretty much with what Bill said - chart just the standouts. Especially if they end up covering Breaking Benjamin at some point. I've only charted one song from Glee so far, and that was "Don't Stop Believin'".

I'd chart as many as deserve to be charted. Only issue is, like with normal artists, that if you chart 5-6 at the same time they tend to cannibalize each other's chart runs.

I vote No. If one or two songs were covered by Glee, then they might deserve to be charted, but when everything and its brother seems to be covered, it becomes superficial and irrelevant. I'm not implying that Glee's covers are bad, I just don't see people charting each and every random karaoke of popular songs. It is my opinion that Glee is similar to groups like The Real Booty Babes, Academy Allstars, The CDM Project, The Hit Makers, etcetera who ostensibly cover loads and loads of popular songs all the time, but serve in reality no purpose except to take away credit from still-deserving artists, regardless of their quality, tribute and good intentions these covers may have. Alternatively, if you are to chart any of them, which I suspect you will, I do recommend the 'no more than 3 at one time' clause.
