That's right. Weird as it sounds but I FINALLY did my Top 100 of 2004 tonight. I compiled the last little bit and now I finally know how the chart looks for last year!

I was keeping track of the chart week by week until about the chart for September when I stopped compiling it for months and it looked as if Maroon 5 would have been #1 for the year at that point. I wasn't too supportive of that idea but since the points made it happen, there was nothing I could do. However, Jason Mraz managed to overtake Maroon 5 to be #1 for the year!
Last year, Jason was #2 and #3 on MT40 with 'You And I Both' and 'The Remedy' respectively! This year, he's #1 and #7 as well as #35 and #56. I expect 'Tonight, Not Again' (which is #56) to be fairly high for the 2005 yearend chart as it didn't hit #1 on the weekly chart until nearly 5 months after it entered the chart, I think it was in March of 2005.
