I feel like going to church!! I am re-listening to "All The Pretty Little Horses" by Current 93... argh! it's awesome!!!!!! I love folk music, specially psych folk (or freak folk) you see, so when I read on rateyourmusic.com a review of this album, I saw statements that it was experimental and apocalyptic folk, so yeah, I had to hear it. Wow, there are some bizarre and twisted folk songs, and also completely demented and demonic songs, I was like "After I finish listening to this, I will have to listen to some jpop!" ;D jajajaja, I am really glad i listened to this. There was also "Moonchild" by John Zorn. Well, that album was more in your face, with laments and grunts and voices from beyond hell, that i considered too false and theatrical, but then again, I kept my distance from it for a while, and finally had to delete it jajajaja I was scared!!! ;D There are many others that I used to consider kinda scary, but after these two, the scale to rate how satanic sounding an album is, has changed forever!! So, anyway, recommend me scary albums! ;D

In regards to "scary" albums, I would put "The Drift" and "Tilt" from Scott Walker up there, but you have already heard those. ;D
In regards to psych-folk or freak folk, you might want to check out "Person Pitch" from Panda Bear album. The Panda Bear is not really "scary" but it has some interesting vocals that are hard to decifer.

I don't usually like albums that might scare me, but I appreciate ones that sound 'dark and dangerous'. In this category, I would recommend two 80's releases: "Mind Bomb" by The The and "Care" by Shriekback. You can also check out stuff by Sisters Of Mercy, Nitzer Ebb, Skinny Puppy, and Front 242.

Thanks to both of you!
banet, I already got the Panda Bear album, will hear it at full soon, thanks! And yes, the Scott Walker albums are great! ;D
And Bill, I will check the Shriekback and maybe the The The albums, the others (for some extremely mysterious reason, sound too 80's rock for me, are they like that? or am I imagining things?)

Well banet, I listened to Panda Bear and it's an ok album, didn't feel darkness or anything similar, but thanks for the suggestion!
And Bill, I sampled those songs, thanks, Shriekback sounds like Kate Bush!! (not the voice, but the music and those backing vocals) and The The was barely ok, but they weren't dark to me. Cool listen anyways!
Come on people, no one else wants to play?

Cool listen anyways! Sounds like your 'dark' stuff would be much too scary for me, Ari! Another 80's one that you could try is Sinead O'Connor's "Troy" (original version).
