The title has a, ahem, extra "u" in the word favourite. (The correct spelling btw ) Very much looking forward to this- I've heard a few Live demos of the new tracks and they sound pretty good.

Not particularly excited for this one! The new track sounds just like their old stuff and is all samey.

The reviews are glowing, and it comes out in less than 2 days! Upon initial listens, I would argue this is better than the debut. Far more consistent.

I doubt it's better than their debut as that is one of my favourite albums of all-time, but I shall predictably be picking this up on Monday.

Danny, I think you will be surprised as how well they have lived up the pressure of avoiding a sophmore slump. This album is absolutely ferocious - with the exception of two "ballads", that still fit nicely.
I still think it's better than their debut with a few more listens!

I still think it's better than their debut with a few more listens! I agree with you now Roger - it's taken over 2 months of growing on me, but this is a better album than their first. I absolutely love it still and it hasn't been out of my CD player since I bought it. Should be very high up on my album chart of the year I think. ;D

I never get tired of hearing this album! Along with Amy Winehouse, and I'm sure Interpol, this cd is in the running for #1 of 2007!
