- AVP scores a solid #1 opening with a solid 11,000 PTA. It's opening comes in a bit higher than the similar franchise flick Freddy vs. Jason. However, the Friday - Saturday decline of 26% doesn't bode well for the future and may indicate a bumpy road ahead.
- PD2 opens to a solid 3-day opening and pushes it's total cume to over 38 Million. It took the original a whole week to reach that feat!
- Yu Gi Oh! from Japan surprises many and actually breaks past 5 million. It's Friday - Saturday decline was even worse than AVP at 41% which indicate that this film could see a 70% drop next week.
- An excellent hold for Collateral, 100 million is not looking out of the question
- Supremacy and Spidey continue to post solid holds as Bourne nears 140 Million and Spidey hits 360 Million
- In other news, A Cinderella Story, which has been showing great legs thus far, plummets 72% this week but will hit 50 Million in overall revenue - a personal best for the Duff wonder.
