Usually shows go into syndication once they pass 100 episodes. It's a good way to try to attract more viewers to the show.

Yeah, I can't think of any show that went into syndication after it went off the air. Malcolm In The Middle is one of my favorite shows on TV. I loved the Family Reunion episode when, after one of the family members causes Lois to miss the group picture, the kids get back by making a shambles of the yard. Ah, sweet revenge! Lois should have beat the crap out of the lady who tricked her like that.

So basically shows have to be good enough in order to go into syndication right?

This show isn't that bad. It's pretty funny at times. Plus, the whole family is whack.
