I use WinAmp and I sort my playlist based on personal charts.
For Example my main playlist "The Hits" has all of my currents + Top 20 recurrents in queue once. Then positions...
1-3; are in queqe 4x (in addition to...) 4-6; are in queqe 3x 7-9; are in queqe 2x 10-11 and Recurrents 1-2; are in queqe 1x
Also, my other playlists based on genre (Pop, Rock, Slow, etc) are programmed with any current song that is Top 10 (at the moment) getting an additional queqe.

it generally reflects my chart, once songs fall off they generally fall off my winamp playlist. it would be more complete if i had cable and could find some of the more rare australian songs that i'm liking...
this is my current playlist (in order from top to bottom): I Like Love (I Love Love) - Solitaire Spiderbait - Black Betty My Place - Nelly Scar - Missy Higgins The Cactus That Found The Beat - Missy Higgins Lola's Theme - Shapeshifters My Completeness - Thirsty Merc Stupidisco - Junior Jack Out With My Baby - Guy Sebastian Nothing Hurts Like Love - Daniel Bedingfield Is It Cos I'm Cool - Mousse T Tonight - Spiderbait Car Wash - Christina Aguilera featuring Missy Elliot Party For Two - Shania Twain featuring Mark McGrath Personal Jesus - Marilyn Manson Call On Me - Eric Prydz I'm Thinking Of You (Baby) - Solitaire These Words - Natasha Bedingfield What You Waiting For? - Gwen Stefani The Drop - Regurgitator
i currently have 206 songs on my computer, though that would be substantially larger had we not had to have reformat our computer several times unexpectedly over the past few years.

I have over 2500 songs in my playlist... but usually the songs I play most are on top of my chart. So my chart more reflects my mp3 playing than the other way around.

No, my playlist does not reflect my chart - because if it did, only Alanis Morissette songs would be on my chart

HybridONE, pardon my ignorance here How do you set this up? 1-3; are in queqe 4x (in addition to...) 4-6; are in queqe 3x 7-9; are in queqe 2x 10-11 and Recurrents 1-2; are in queqe 1x Do you manually put each song into a queue or do use some kind of setting to achieve this? If this is possible that would rock.

Yes, it usually does... I usually have a current playlist with the 100 songs on my chart and a few that are bubbling under.

I'm unable to listen to my computer and the music on it to any major degree to really determine anything. If I could, I'd listen to my SAM3 playlists the most and that playlist is determined mostly by my two charts. However, what I listen to in my CD player is fairly reflective.

I usually have around 150 - 180 songs on my playlist. Those are the most recents songs I am listening. Included there there are the 20 songs in my chart and other current songs (or old ones that I just discovered) and they stay there until I am tired of them. That explains that there are times when there are more than 200 songs!
That way, all the current songs have the same chances to be heard, cause they are all played eventually.

My playlist includes all of the 30 tracks on my weekly chart, but it also includes tons of recurrent, gold, and just plain "old stuff." I have been collecting music since I was five years old, so I have a massive collection of auditory opportunities! ;D

I don't have a playlist, so no.
I just listen to whetever I want at any given time, whether it be the same song a couple times over, or a song from the 80s.
Sometimes I just randomly select songs.

My playlist does reflect to a certain extent
Right now on my playlist, Ryan Cabrera's "True" and Geri Halliwell's "Ride It" are getting big airplay. But they just debuted last week, but they will make huge gains this week as a result of that huge airplay.
