This year's Olympics are the first where I have a chart...and I have no plans to put Bjork's "Oceania" on my chart

Bjork will debut on my chart next week no questions asked. No clue what she'll do though.
Other songs being used this year for the games include Josh Groban's You Raise Me Up and Simon & Garfunkel's Citizen of the Planet. Josh is already charting and has been, so I won't count it. S&G most likely WNC.

1996: Power Of the Dream reached number one and stayed there for a while. Also was my number one overall for 1996.
2000: Many songs that were played in the opening/closing ceremonies at the sydney olympics made my chart. All three of my favourite songs of 2000 were sung in the closing ceremony, they were "affirmation" - savage garden, "absolutely everybody" - vanessa amorosi, "my island home (earth beat) - christine anu. All songs were released well before the olympics, although christine anu's song was partially re-written and remixed and i thought it was the best performance of the night.

I haven't charted any olympic songs before. If it isn't a "single" i don't chart it. However, one i really liked was "Dare To Dream" from Sydney's opening ceromony from Olivia Newton-John & John Farnham ;D

However, one i really liked was "Dare To Dream" from Sydney's opening ceromony from Olivia Newton-John & John Farnham ;D Reach was officially a single, and even made the top 40. The Power of the Dream was the B-side to Celine's It's All Coming Back To Me Now single.

I think "One Moment in Time" by Whitney Houston from the 1988 Olympics made a dent in my top 20.

Don't forget about "On A Night Like This" ...did that make your chart?
