Usher also scores his first #1 on my chart with "Yeah!". Before this song, he had two other top 10s ("U Remind Me" peaked at #1 and "U Got It Bad" peaked at #3). you mean "U Remind Me" peaked at #10 right? else, that makes it his second #1

Well I've had 8 #1 songs so far this year, and they were "My Immortal" Evanescence (4 weeks) "Toxic" Britney Spears (8 weeks) "This Love" Maroon 5 (3 weeks) "Naughty Girl" Beyonce (2 weeks) "I Miss You" Blink 182 (2 weeks) "Everytime" Britney Spears (4 weeks) "Scandalous" Mis-Teeq (2 weeks) "Sweet Dreams" Rachel Stevens (2 weeks so far) Out of those 8, 5 were all new #1's for artists! Evanescence never had a #1 before MI, Britney had 1 before Toxic, since i just started my chart in August 2003, now she has 3! Maroon 5, Blink 182, Mis-Teeq and Rachel Stevens all had their first #1's! Beyonce had her 2nd as Baby Boy hit #1 in September..Another possibility is The Black Eyed Peas "Let's Get Retarded"..it jumps up 3 spots this week to #3, and looks like it could make it all the way to #1, giving the BEP their 1st #1! Their previous singles "Where Is The Love", "Hey Mama" and "Shut Up" all peaked at #2!

Kylie Minogue's first JT25 entry "Red Blooded Woman" was the only song from her "Body Language" album that came close to even making my chart, and it went all the way to the top in April.
Kimberley Locke's "8th World Wonder" was her first chart entry and first #1...it also took the longest time for it to reach the top, in 23 weeks.
Jessica Simpson had two top ten hits from her new album ("Sweetest Sin" hit #10, "With You" hit #2) but "Take My Breath Away" was her first #1.
Brandy's "Talk About Our Love" featuring Kanye West went to #1, the first for both of them (and probably the only for Kanye West).
And finally, new artist JoJo hit #1 on this week's chart with her first chart entry "Leave (Get Out)".
