I have a dial-up internet. How do I make it go faster without changing the connection?

If you search for the type of modem you have in Google, you may be able to find some info on how you can tweak your dial-up connection... (Right Click on "My Computer" / click "Properties" / select the "Hardware" tab / click "Device Manager" / Click the "+" next to modems / it should say what type of modem you have there...) There's a program called CyberTweak that can improve your connection speed/efficiency as well... If you want, download and install CyberTweak; start it up... Where it says "I am using a", select "Modem" and Click "Optimize" www.cybertweak.co.uk/index.htmlAlso, your ISP may have multiple phone numbers that you can dial in to (usually listed on their website with corresponding locations)... I would try the other numbers and see if you can get faster speeds that way... Generally, the closer you are to where you're dialing in to, the faster your connection speed will be. You might also be interested in something called Google Web Accelerator (I don't recommend using Web Accelerator with DSL or Cable... only Dial-Up): webaccelerator.google.com/
