Hope that I make sense in what I ask but can anyone help me, what I'm unsure about is that I just purchased a new notebook (laptop) and I was wondering if I could load my tracklisting from I-tunes using my I-pod? I really don't want to loose all my songs I have on my I-pod. Surely this can be done. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance, Tami.

What I told Craig (and it worked for him), is to make sure that iTunes is not installed at first on the laptop. Then, hook up the iPod like you normally would. Then, set up your computer to show hidden files; all your MP3's from the iPod should be in one of those (even if the filenames are fungus). Then, once you have the MP3's on your laptop, install iTunes and create the same playlist as you had on your other computer, and your iPod should still have all your MP3's on it
