I have tried to create html tables for several pages in the NASCAR section of my site. Unfortunately, I have never taken a computer class in my life and I am having trouble. Would anyone be willing to do a Q&A in this thread to help me out? P.S. I am a truck driver so I am not at home for a couple days at a time, so my replies and/or questions might be delayed.

<table>
<tr> <td>text</td> <td>text</td> ... </tr> <tr> <td>text</td> <td>text</td> ... </tr> <tr> <td>text</td> <td>text</td> ... </tr>
. . .
</table>
Additional attributes can be included in the opening tags as well.

1) How do center the text?
2) How do you make individual columns bold?

1) How do center the text? 2) How do you make individual columns bold? Try this: <html>
<body> <table border="1" width="100%" id="sample_table"> <tr> <td><b>BOLD</b></td> <td><b>BOLD</b></td> <td><b>BOLD</b></td> <td><b>BOLD</b></td> </tr> <tr> <td align="center">Centered</td> <td align="center">Centered</td> <td align="center">Centered</td> <td align="center">Centered</td> </tr> <tr> <td align="center"> <p align="center"><b>BOLD & Centered</b></td> <td align="center"><b>BOLD & Centered</b></td> <td align="center"><b>BOLD & Centered</b></td> <td align="center"><b>BOLD & Centered</b></td> </tr> </table> </body>
</html> As far as making an individual column bold... there's a way to do it with sylesheets but I don't exactly remember how.

Just wondering if you got it figured out? I use tables for every website I make! Not for simple table/chart purposes but to divide my page in half and all that stuff. It can be complicated if you don't keep it organized.

Just wondering if you got it figured out? I use tables for every website I make! Not for simple table/chart purposes but to divide my page in half and all that stuff. It can be complicated if you don't keep it organized. It's easier just to place everything is an absolute position using the <DIV> tag. That's what I use on my site. If you use tables, things might look ok in Internet Explorer but they'll look all srcrewed up in Netscape and other browsers. Example: <div style="position: absolute; width: 282px; height: 132px; z-index: 4; left: 365px; top: 215px; border: 1px solid #C0C0C0" id="example"> ... </div>
