I don't understand the thinking of Columbia Records. Are they purposely trying to make everyone sick of Jessica Simpson? It seems they can't make up their minds about promoting her or not.
First, they take several months to release a follow-up to "Sweetest Sin" when it was obviously a huge flop. Then, they release "Take My Breath Away" while "With You" is still at #1 on the Pop airplay chart. Now, I see that the next single, "Angels" is already starting to get Pop airplay when "Breath" hasn't even lost its bullet yet! (granted, it's only one station, but almost certainly more will follow in the coming days). What's the deal? I say give one song the chance to run its course before you try to shove another one at us.

It's no more different (and no less not a good thing) than what Jive is doing with Usher. True...and that sucks too. Both of these people are pretty good singers. You'd think record label people would learn the lessons from past overexposures and not do what they're doing.

I'd rather hear 2 Jessica Simpson songs in an hour than 3 Usher songs in a half hour like what's been happening.
