Jada's style is pretty good, the lyrics however are pretty awful... Mariah's part is pretty unnecessary, you could grab any random female to sing that part...
i'll play it though

Trash it! Mariah needs to ditch the rappers, and go back to showing her REAL talent! Yeah, but unfortunately, 2004 radio won't play anything that showcases Mariah's real talent. This song is pretty random...basically it's garbage, so what better place than the TRASH.

Yeah, but unfortunately, 2004 radio won't play anything that showcases Mariah's real talent. not to diss your opinion Keith, but has Mariah done anything to really showcase her talent in her last few albums? Glitter and Charmbracelet are very mediocre compared to her albums like Rainbow and the such

Glitter and Charmbracelet are very mediocre compared to her albums like Rainbow and the such Yeah, no doubt dude...I agree with you. But it's pretty unlikely radio will even embrace a song that does showcase her talent. It sucks, but it's true. I'll give you the example of "Through The Rain", which we all know was a failure. Now, personally, I found this a trite and boring song, but I'm pretty sure it would have been a hit had it come out in the early '90s. Truth is, her AC-type songs just won't do well now...they may get a few spins on AC stations, but there's no way in hell she'll get massive airplay in markets like Pop, Rhythmic, or Urban, which were all her core formats (it's true -- her early AC hits were Urban smashes as well). That's why she's forced to team up with rappers on shitty collaborations which, with the exception of her collab with Busta Rhymes last year, also bomb as far as airplay goes. And come on, I don't speak for myself when I say that "I Know What You Want" could have easily been done by Ashanti or whoever and done as well...the same thing goes for "U Make Me Wanna". The bottom line is today's music climate just doesn't suit Mariah. None of her best songs would have been hits had they come out now.
